Triage: It would be needed on a massive scale. Even a single nuclear weapon in a major city would see at least 10,000 casualties that need medical aid, and thats for a very small device. A strategic weapon would wound 100,000 or more in a large enough city. In the first few hours, figuring out who can wait and who needs the scarce medical resources would be critical.
The disposal of bodies: When I was in school, I read a FEMA report on the best use of petroleum in the post attack scenario, with regards to the burying of the dead. The question was which would be more efficient, using the fuel to start fires for cremation, or to use the fuel to run earth moving machinery for mass graves.
The conclusion is one thing that stayed with me after all this time. I have never forgotten it, and the horror I felt reading it has never diminished. It has served as the basis for many terrible dreams.
The conclusion was that it would be more efficient to use the earth moving machinery to bury people over the age of 14. But children, due to the greater proportion of body fat, would be efficiently burned. The fat providing enough fuel to sustain the fire until the corpses were destroyed.
I remember thinking that somewhere, someone had to sit down and figure out how much heat energy a burning toddler releases.
After I read that, I have always thought that if we failed in what we were doing (if we failed to deter the Soviets/Russians/whoever) the end result would be a thousand hospital parking lots with piles of burning children in it.” - A friend who works in the nuclear field, who asked to remain anonymous. Not to be that guy, but please re-blog this. I want everyone to see even just one consequence of a nuclear war.

I noticed markings like this one while playing The Division. This is the FEMA marking system, a modified version of the ISARAG marking system for urban search and rescue.

A single slash, “/”, means the search has not been completed. A “X” indicates the search is complete and info about the search is marked around the X. At the top of the X is the date the search was completed. To the left you will see the unit or organization which conducted the search. At the bottom will be the number of survivors followed by the number of dead found inside. And to the right will be other info about the structure. This info could be supplies inside for later use, hazards to health in a CBRN event, or info about the structural integrity of the structure.

Fluoridation without consent: ingesting toxins that produce #casualapathy to all the things in the world that really matter.
Of course the parasites/controllers got away with it in the municipal water supply, so they decided to take it a step further with our air and food.

I can honestly say that the people oblivious to this poison are the most affected, and they make up the majority of the population unfortunately.
The apathy produces indifference which is worse than hate.

The indifference excludes them from caring about the suffering of others and allows them to feel comfortable and blissful in their ignorant bubble of existence.

Not caring that sky vehicles purposefully destroy our air/food/soil quality, not caring that innocent intelligent animals are sacrificed to appease certain entities and then turned into toxic food that people willingly ingest and even brag about consuming.
But aha! They do care about celebrity gossip, their sports teams, money backed by nothing and printed out of thin air, TV and politics.

I just wish people would snap out of it and give a damn. •

How FEMA is Threatening Climate Change Deniers

Governors skeptical of man-made climate change are in for a rude awakening. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is going to start denying disaster-preparedness funds to governors who don’t have plans in place for climate change, according to Inside Climate News. The limitations don’t extend to disaster relief, but they do apply to funds that help states with projects aimed to mitigate future disasters.

“If a state has a climate denier governor that doesn’t want to accept a plan, that would risk mitigation work not getting done because of politics,” Becky Hammer, a lawyer with the Natural Resources Defense Council’s water program, told Inside Climate News. “The governor would be increasing the risk to citizens in that state [thanks to his views].”

“It is every citizen’s responsibility to be prepared for a disaster. And that means taking proactive steps, like having an evacuation plan, having a fully stocked disaster supply kit. If your local authorities ask you to evacuate, you have to do it. Don’t wait.” —President Obama on being prepared for hurricane season. “What I want the people of Louisiana to know is that you’re not alone on this. Even after the TV cameras leave, the whole country is going to continue to support you and help you until we can get people back into their homes and lives are rebuilt.” —President Obama speaking in Baton Rouge amid response and recovery efforts to the devastating flooding across the state. Hey People

If you make $50,000 per year,  you pay:

$3.98 a year for natural disaster relief (FEMA)

$6.96 a year for welfare

$36.82 a year for SNAP

$22.88 a year for unemployment insurance

$43.78 a year for retirement & disability of Gov’t workers

$247.75 a year for defense

$4,000.00 a year in corporate subsidies

If the first 3 piss you off and the last two don’t…you’re an idiot!
