Step 1: Turn the shirt inside out. Cut up through side through the armpit. If short sleeve, go till an inch or two from the end. If long sleeve, it’s up to you. I went a third of the way down.

Step 2: Cut 1 - 2 inches from the center cut to the left and right to make two centered strips.

Step 3: Line up the sides and snip little holes though both layers to make equally spaced holes for looping.

Step 4: Take the strips from the top and go under and through the first hole on the opposite side. So left into the top right hole and right into the top left hole.

Step 5: Continue like lacing a pair of shoes. At the bottom, tie the strip AND the bottom of the shirt into a double knot.

Repeat on the other side and Wala! New shirt!

It may not be glamorous, but it feels so good to cut up that shirt. Enjoy!
