Did you know
  • That EVHS was almost “Ronald Reagan High School” or “Cesar Chavez High School?”
  • That our school colors were almost of the red and gold variety?
  • That teal, black, white and grey were based off of the SJ Sharks?
  • That our mascot was almost a “Titan” rather than a “Cougar?”
  • That our mascot is a Cougar because we live near the mountains where Cougars were/are still somewhat prevalent?
  • That when the school started, each student was loaned a laptop?
  • That the first few years the school opened, the school was divided into 4 independent schools within it: Science & Technology, Global Economy, Human Performance, and Humanities?
  • That EVHS students were documented as one of the first to use Xanga?

Just FYI :)

BOTC Theme is musicals.

Seriously…musicals…that means no original story. Unless we all write and record music/lyrics. Which would be fun but require months of preparation. Like starting right now preparation.

On the other hand, there will be at least one class who will try to have the actors sing the songs. It’d be entertaining to watch that trainwreck…

5, 6, 7, 8…..DEAL!

PLEASE REBLOG TO SPREAD THE WORD!

Regarding a little rumor

about what may go down tomorrow at school: don’t believe the hype. We go to one of the safest schools in our district, and probably even San Jose. If that doesn’t convince you not skip school tomorrow, then look back to March 2009. There was Anthrax sent to our school office (which turned out to be baby powder), a Nazi sign burned into the grass, many trees cut down, and a supposed gun store robbery that same week. THAT is something to be scared of, not this little rumor. It’s all talk, so again, don’t believe the hype unless you’ve got proof (by which you should probably talk to someone soon about it or alert the authorities.)

Please join us in the quad tomorrow for our tribute to our dear Physics Teacher, Mr. John Blair.

Please wish him a speedy recovery and to get well soon if you see him tomorrow!
