Meet The First Trans Athlete To Be Featured In ESPN’s Body Issue

Chris Mosier, who has said he began questioning his gender identity at age 4, told HuffPost that he was “really grateful for the opportunity” to be included in the magazine, and called the photoshoot “a great opportunity to push my own boundaries.”

Now in it’s fourth year, ESPN Magazine The Body Issue celebrates the the physical form of some of the world’s finest athletes and features 27 male and females from across the sporting world. This latest issue features the likes of Rob Gronkowski from the New England Patriots, Tyson Chandler from the New York Knicks, Strikeforce Women’s Bantamwweight Champion Ronda Rousey, the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team, WNBA star Candace Parker, and many more.
