Her alla prima oil paintings offer a graphic quality combined with traditional portrait techniques. Garant uses patterns, duplication of elements, symmetry and image superposition as key elements of her imagery.
Alex Garant’s paintings are not far from a perfect optical illusion: her protagonists trying to escape themselves, almost possessed by a distinct version of their own individuality, an exorcism of the soul.
im still kinda scared to do tutorial vids like my makeup look the same all the time and im limited to looks bc of my uneven monolids im self conscious about them so i absolutely need my winged liner all the time to cover it up 😭
As a matter of fact, I DID have actual face-claims in mind when I was writing out the Dads scenario. Some of them occurred to me as obvious choices, others require a little more delving into.
I tried to look into the resemblance + personalities of the children when doing this one, but some of them are really just kid models whom I have little to no knowledge about, and I couldn’t find proper gifs of them too, so do forgive me on this one.
And with that being said, here are our face-claims!
Child(ren): One daughter Face-claim: Kal Sowon (child actress)
If you guys have watched Miracle in Cell No. 7, you’d understand my choice. SHE. IS. SO. LOVABLE. While she doesn’t resemble Coups that much, she does have his prominently double-lidded, deep set eyes. She was my immediate choice for Coups’ daughter.
Child(ren): 2 sons Face-claims: Junu and Junseo (original Return of Superman children)
For Junu, the older brother, he has the innate instinct to take care of his younger sibling, just like how Jeonghan does tend to have a motherly side to him. Junseo is more playful and cheeky, similar to how Jeonghan’s secretly the group’s number 1 prankster. Overall, I find this to be quite a suitable match
Child(ren): One son and one daughter Face-claims: Unknown (child models)
I honestly couldn’t find the names of these incredibly adorable children, so if anyone has them, please let me know. I’ve picked these two off a Korean catalogue for children fashion, and thought that the boy really does have Jisoo’s gentle eyes.
Child(ren): One son Face-claim: Jung Yoonseok (child actor)
Best known for playing broody Opera Boy from Good Doctor, I couldn’t help but draw the similarities between him and Junhui. As an actor, he’s mature, professional and level-headed, the qualities I would expect of Jun’s child. Definitely following his dad’s footsteps of being a well-known child star.
Child(ren): 2 sons and 1 daughter Face-claims: Harang, Hayul and Haeum/Hael (Sean’s children)
woW THIS WAS LEGITIMATELY A TOUGH ONE. It had definitely been a challenge finding children that even remotely resemble him. Ended up picking Sean’s children because both Hayul and Harang have his 10:10 eyes. I know that’s four children but the girls can go both ways I guess.
Child(ren): Triplet boys Face-claims: Daehan, Minguk, Manse (Return of Superman)
Jeon One, Jeon Two, Jeon Three There’s literally only one set of male triplets that is famous in Korea, but I daresay that they would match Wonwoo well. Daehan has his serious/bookish side, Minguk’s his musical prowess and Manse his quirky and humorous disposition. I’d like to see Wonwoo care for them for 48 hours, thanks.
Child(ren): 1 son Face-claims: Choi Rowoon (child actor)
jfdalfdakjsflaksl YES MORE GOOD DOCTOR ACTORS :D Rowoon is an incredibly gifted actor for his age. I can definitely see Jihoon trying to be hard on him but one look into his beautiful big eyes (he got them from his mom) and Jihoon just sighs and gives in immediately HAHA

Gorgeously Surreal Portraits Painted to Resemble Double Vision
Dubbed the “Queen of Double Eyes,” artist Alex Garant depicts beautiful women with that are multi-eyed and in double vision. The gorgeously-painted oil portraits have facial features that are multiplied and offset from one another. This distortion of eyes, noses, and mouths makes her realistic-looking subjects appear unfocused as their bodies are combined with geometric patterns and Art Nouveau-esque flourishes.
