Ahh Im afraid this isn’t as sad as you wanted it to be, but I hope you still like it! -Admin Bee

The heavy metal door slams shut behind you, the defining click of the lock sliding into place coinciding with the release of your shoulders. Your back hits the cold surface and you slide down, joining the man beside you on the floor. Both of you are trying to catch your breath, no amount of cardio days at the gym could prepare you for running for your life.

“That was a close one,” Changkyun breathes, looking over to you with an impish grin. All you can do is glare back, words escaping you until your lungs had time to recover. With a final huff, he stands and makes his way over to the control board of the machine, pressing a few buttons to make the machine start again. Meanwhile, your heart was still trying to escape out your throat.

“How did you recover so fast?”

He glances over his shoulder as you struggle to stand before turning back to pull a lever, “Must be an alien thing.”

“Must be,” you mutter. Finally you join him at the console, still having to grip onto the edge of a panel of knobs and wires. With a final lever pull, the machine gives a hefty groan and puff, transporting you away from the mysterious planet and through the realm of space and time.

“Where to next?” He asks, sliding a monitor over to enter the coordinates. You sigh, rubbing a hand over your face.

“Actually, could you just take me home?”

Changkyun stills, his fingers hovering over the keyboard. You’re about to ask what’s wrong when he shakes his head, going quiet but still entering your address and the day you’d left home, just an hour later.

The ride back is unusually quiet. Typically at this time the two of you would be excitedly yelling about the adventure you’d just been on, eagerly awaiting the next destination Changkyun was taking you to. But this was different. Neither of you had said it, but this felt like goodbye.

The machine groans again and you know without opening the doors that you’ve already arrived. Changkyun won’t look at you. He simply unlocks the door.

You whisper a small “thank you,” hoping he knows there’s so much you can’t articulate behind the words. Leaving is suddenly harder than you once imagined it would be. It’s with one hand against the door that you hesitate, hearing his sharp intake of air that makes you turn around to look at him. He’s watching you go, but now with one arm outstretched toward you.

“Please don’t go away. Please? No one’s ever stuck with me for so long before.”

You glance back at your apartment building. You’re so close, near feet away from your doorstep and inside the safety, comfort, familiarity of your home. In a few hours you could be snuggled under your blankets, pretending that Changkyun and his time machine was all a hallucinatory dream, the wonders your eyes had seen simply fairytales to melt into your memories. You’d go back to your job as a secretary, see your two friends from work, resume your ordinary life.

But what was the fun in that?

“Alright, Spaceman.” His eyes light up at the nickname you’d given him at the start of your adventures together and you reach forward to place your hand into his, “Show me the stars.”

Hey, have you honestly given up in believing taekook could be a real thing? And if so - why do you still enjoy this ship?

You probably ask this because I’ve said earlier to anon that all ships aren’t real. Well, that answer is actually what I tend to think: we just shouldn’t say/fight over which ship is or isn’t real, because as long as “shipped” people don’t confirm they’re together in real life, ship will stay just a ship, nothing real.
(everything is hunky dory as long as crazy shippers stop shoving their “real”/“unreal” ships into other people’s faces)

But HellNo I’d ever give up on hoping that any of my ships could be a real deal.
*sigh* I hope taekook becomes really “real” one day…

A late happy birthday to @tosquinha - one of the most original and talented artists on tumblr. We don’t talk much but I love seeing your art on my dash.

I’ve written a small, fluffy (and kinda cracky) fic inspired by one of Quel’s de-aged bagginshield art. I hope you’ll like it!

The company stared in silence at their leader and their burglar as they stood in front of them in a Mirkwood clearing. One moment Thorin and Bilbo had been sitting peacefully, eating their rations of whatever could be gathered of mushrooms and berries in this dark forest, and the next they had dropped to at least half their size.

Their clothes hung from their narrow shoulders, Thorin’s fur coat dragging behind him on the forest floor while Bilbo’s trousers had finally reached a sensible length, covering everything down to his ankles. Even Thorin’s beard had been reduced to the smallest of whiskers.

Glóin was the first to speak. ‘They’ve turned into children!’

Conolulu is this weekend!

I’m gonna be the quiet, reserved loner sitting in F67. If you see me, come say hi! I love meeting and talking with spnfam. But, please keep these things in mind:

- I have a crap ton of social anxiety. Whilst I’m thrilled to meet you, conversing with you is terrifying for me, I’m afraid I’ll say the wrong thing. Sometimes I won’t say much at all in fear of this.
- My short term memory is terrible. If I forget something you say, please don’t be offended. I’m kind of like Dory, except my long term memory is quite good (yeah, I’m still figuring that one out, too).
- I never, ever have the intention to hurt you. If I say something stupid, it’s because I’m nervous as hell or my morality filter died again. It doesn’t bother me who you ship, who you stan, I care about you as a human being. The idea of hurting anyone is horrible to me, so tell me if I say something dumb.
- If you bring up Destiel fan fiction, I probably won’t shut up (yes, I will definitely be at that cockles panel).

I know that all sounds rather ominous, but sometimes I can come off as rude or standoff-ish and that’s really not my intention. So if you see me, and I seem like a dick, I promise I’m not trying to be. I’m probably just really nervous.

I hope I get to meet some of you at the con <3

The second half of my Japan trip was in Osaka - an entirely new universe compared to Kyoto’s zen. A sprawling metropolitan area, Osaka is a dense urban jungle filled with commercial establishments largely obsessed with “Amerikamura” or American villages - their own version of Harajuku where you can find heaps of western goods. Orange Street or Tachibana-Dori, a long strip of independent shops is the perfect example of this ‘amemura’ neighborhood. The hotel which I stayed in was a minute away from Osaka Castle, which frankly is not that striking.

Also dubbed as Japan’s food capital, you can find really great deals on restaurants (combos, cheap food etc). They’re famous for their okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) and takoyaki - the best ones can be found in Namba/Dotunburi.

Since I haven’t been to Tokyo (yet), I can’t really say Osaka as its less stellar counterpart but based on what I saw in Lost In Translation (lol) it has similar features with tiny nuances. It has high-end shops, busy streets in Umeda like that of Shibuya and an intricate subway where I got lost countless times. My only regret is that I stayed in Osaka too long whereas I could’ve stayed in Kyoto for a couple of days, made Osaka a day trip and went to see Himeji, Kobe and Nara instead but not bad for a first time.

i literally just realised that two of the three main characters in finding nemo are disabled. like…..that only just occurred to me. like…….nemo’s physically disabled and dory’s neurologically disabled and they’re both important and valued in the story omg. as someone with increasingly bad memory problems, im really starting to look forward to finding dory……. (does dory have short or long term memory problems or both? i think both? i can’t rly remember - oh the irony. mine’s just short term so, altho not exactly the same, still hella relatable) anyway i think finding nemo needs to be rewatched now

Could Zootopia literally beat Moana and Finding Dory for the Oscars?

Zootopia: An animal movie that could have failed easily, but actually is another great Disney film that’s really deep about fighting racism and prejudice

Finding Dory: The long-awaited sequel to Finding Nemo and if it’s as good as the last one, will have lots of emotion, comedy, and heart.

Moana: First Disney Princess Polynesian movie with Polynesian myth & culture, with gorgeous music, a strong heroine, no love story, and breathtaking visuals and animation.
