My poor attempt at the Victoria Beckam pose. I think I need to lean to my right quite a bit more.

What a night last night…so unexpected and so unbelievably FUN!! The gang decided last minute to attend “An Evening in Manila” at the beautiful former Fletcher Sinclair Mansion overlooking Central Park. It was a formal (seemed more semi-formal to me) affair held to benefit Advancement for Rural Kids (ARK), a non-profit organization whose programs fight hunger and support education of school-age children in rural areas of the developing world. So, we dressed up, ate, danced, and drank for the kids. I have to say, out of all the parties and clubs I’ve been to in NYC, this one had THE BEST DJ evvvvvver. The Filipinos REALLY know how to party. It was all 90s hip hop mixed with some top 40 and a bit of MJ. When TLC’s Creep came on we all went crazzzzy!!! Ahh so fun. We danced for 3 hours straight without any breaks. Yep, the music was THAT good. It was SO good that I just had to search for him when I got home. DJ GETLIVE, you will be spinning at my wedding.
Oh, I forgot to mention my top. Since my armpit fat was popping out more than usual, I made a cut on both sides of the peplum top to make the arm holes bigger and deeper and stitched it up myself. It’s a bit uneven given that I suck at sewing but it was either cut the top and sew it myself or lose 8 lbs in 10 minutes in order to fit into that top comfortably. I chose to sew. The skirt has hidden pockets that you can access with a zipper which is pretty freakin awesome. I love TIBI!!! I also bought the skirt in black.
Alright, I’ll stop with the rambling. Have a great week all!
