We’ve shared photos and videos of the of pottery being made on a potter’s wheel, but this is the first time we’ve watched the mesmerizing process from the perspective of the wheel. Potter Eric Landon, co-founder of Tortus Copenhagen, was curious about the clay’s perspective during the shaping process so he mounted a camera on the edge of his own potter’s wheel while woking on a vase. 

The dizzying footage reveals that, as far as the clay is concerned, it’s the rest of the world that’s spinning:
