They’re back, you’re welcome: here’s the new poster for Disney XD’s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy animated series, which is set to debut on Saturday, September 26th. Watch here the test footage shown at last year’s New York Comic Con.

The voice cast includes Will Friedle as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Trevor Devall as Rocket Raccoon, Vanessa Marshall as Gamora, David Sobolov as Drax the Destroyer, Kevin Michael Richardson as Groot and James Arnold Taylor as Yondu and Cosmo.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy follows the newly-formed team who finds a strange artifact keyed only to the DNA of Peter Quill. Upon opening it, Quill unleashes a treasure map leading to a powerful weapon known as the Cosmic Seed which is capable of giving birth to the next universe. It’s up to the Guardians to find, protect and ultimately destroy the Cosmic Seed in order to keep it out of the hands of those who would abuse its power, from galactic big boss Thanos, to the conniving brothers the Collector and the Grandmaster, to a resurrected Ronan, to the ultimate trickster, Loki, in order to save the universe.

On a February 5th just like today, 60 years ago, this marvellous film that fills our hearts with desire for adventure was released. It was the beginning of thinking we can fly, have sword fights with pirates, swim with mermaids and never let go of our inner child.

This Disney’s classic animated feature has left its mark in history.

Happy 60th anniversary Peter Pan!

This is the official poster of the Mickey Mouse short to be released alongside Frozen this fall. As I already stated before, it will be the return of Mickey Mouse to the big screen. There hasn’t been a Mickey Mouse animated in short in theatres since the 1950’s.

This short will feature the legendary mouse, Minnie Mouse, Horatio Horse, Clarabelle Cow and Pete. It will pay tribute not only by the 2D hand-drawn animation resembling his early animated shorts, but also the fact that Mickey will be voiced by Walt Disney, as he did back then, using a few recordings of his voice.
