Opening today at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters offers a rare look at more than six hundred pieces from the iconic Mexican filmmaker’s private collection of drawings, paintings, sculptures, and other artifacts.

I am falling into a routine of doing a Monday photo dump of the previous week and weekend and then just not posting anything throughout the week. Whoops.

The long version will be below the cut but here’s the TL;DR:
I was at Humans To Mars 2017 last week from Tuesday through Thursday and it was a really interesting few days listening to people (including Buzz Aldrin) talk about how and when we’ll put humans on Mars. Work has been absolutely insane, which meant staying til 7 Friday and then working 2-7 Saturday. Yesterday I drove a few hours south for a fabulously beautiful waterfall hike in Shenandoah and followed it up with cider and beer. It was wonderful.
