This Magic Chocolate Flower is one of the prettiest and fanciest desserts we’ve ever seen and we’d love to try it. The delicate chocolate petals “bloom” when hot cream is poured around them, melting them just enough to cause them to fall open and reveal chocolate cake, fruit, sorbet and edible flowers inside.

This extraordinarily intricate treat is the work of Pastry Chef Joaquim Sousa, who works at the Ipsylon Restuarant, located insides The Oitavos, a 5 star hotel in Cascais, Portugal.
