DOPE CELEBRITY

I am faced with 2 options because of school: I will have to leave this blog inactive for 3 months or I can let other people join this blog and turn this into a group run blog (which will get a lot more things covered than me running this blog by myself) to keep it going/active. If I don’t get a response (or enough members) by Monday, September 7th 11:59pm, this blog won’t be active again until December. In my absence, asks and fanmail won’t be answered until December (because only the admin of the blog has access to messages).

Essentially what I’m looking for is 2 to 6 people to help me run this blog. If you are interested please submit to me your email (so I can add you to the blog), list one of the things you want to do (reblog, post news/updates, make edits; if you are interested in posting edits, please provide a link to your edits so I can take a look at them), and have your ask box open so if I decide to add you to the blog, I can let you know that you are now a member.

What I’m looking for in potential members (required)

  • Must know how to tag things properly (follow this tagging system except for the my edit tag)
  • Does not have another Leonardo DiCaprio blog (because it’s hard running two blogs about the same thing)
  • Must be a serious fan of Leonardo DiCaprio (you have to have enough interest in him to want to help run a blog for at least 3 months and/or more)
  • Focuses less on their own opinion (such as who he should date), and focuses on posting content
  • Is active/has the free time to be on here multiple times a week
  • Has an understanding on how to queue/schedule posts

These are the specific roles that I need taken cared of (because if I’m going to expand this blog to a group blog, I want it be better than how I ran it for the past 2 years):

  1. The reblogger: one person that goes through the #leonardo dicaprio, #leo dicaprio, #dicaprioedit, #leodicaprioedit and #leonardodicaprioedit tags and reblog posts that are Leonardo DiCaprio related (and tag reblogged posts properly) (if you aren’t sure if it’s him, then don’t reblog it) (try not to reblog posts that are exactly the same to avoid duplicates being posted to this blog) (don’t reblog too many posts; if it’s a lot of posts, just schedule or queue when you want to post the reblogs)
  2. The updater: one person that posts news on what Leo is currently doing (videos, pictures, sightings, screenshot(s) of tweets (if they are interesting), instagram pics + captions (if they are interesting) (tag posts properly) (you don’t need to edit)
  3. The editors: one to four people who know how to make edits (photo edits + gifs) (tags posts properly and uses a special edits tag for their own edits, do not use the ‘my edit, my gif, my gifs’ tags because I already use them for my edits)

The benefits of joining this blog:

  • It’s a way to participate and share things with a lot of people who love the same person you do: Leo!
  • It’s way easier than starting a new blog from scratch by joining a blog that is somewhat or is becoming established.
  • Whether you know it or not, other fans do appreciate the time and effort you put into sharing content with them, because we all depend on other fans for information on our favorite celeb, so you’ll be making someone’s day.
  • This blog has the potential to be big(ger) in the future, and you get to say (or brag, if you want) that you helped build up a successful blog (add to your resume under activities).
  • Depending on how successful/popular this blog becomes (success doesn’t happen over night, it happens over time), there is a possibility that we can earn an income from running this blog. It’s not about how many followers you have, it’s about how many people are visiting your blog daily. If there are thousands of people visiting this blog on a daily basis, then we can incorporate ads to display on this blog and get some type of revenue, but this can only happen if this blog is successful, and it won’t be able to get to that level unless there is a team of people contributing to this blog’s success. Why not potentially earn money for doing something you love?

If you do end up joining this blog, remember, this is a hobby, not a job, and have fun, there are other people helping you run this blog, so all the pressure isn’t on one person, you just have to keep this blog active and stick with the theme: Leonardo DiCaprio.

If I do get enough people to join this blog and you aren’t added to become a new member, but are also interested in joining a Rihanna blog, follow the same guidelines in this post and submit your email and the job/task that you want to do here.
