Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” made its debut at midnight on December 2 , 1983, being MTV’s first world premiere video. Voted as the most influential pop music video of all time, Thriller proved to have a profound effect on popular culture, and was named “a watershed moment for the music industry” for its unprecedented merging of filmmaking and music. Guinness World Records listed it in 2006 as the “most successful music video”, selling over nine million copies. In 2009, the video was inducted into the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress, the first music video to ever receive this honor, for being “culturally, historically or aesthetically” significant.
Shhh… I know it was only a few hours ago when I said I won’t be posting new art for a long while (So busy!!!) but these photos of Colin on the set of Legend were just way too tempting, arghhh… I just couldn’t resist a quickle! Damn this man’s profile! T3T (My Art Tag)
So the Matsuno bros all have official animal counterparts(Red panda, tiger, ram/sheep, cat, dog, bunny in order) and I got bored and drew Osomatsu and Totty’s ones. Red Panda is adorable for Oso and I wanna argue the rabbit for Totty, but it makes sense.
It was so hot. It had been so hot, all week long; the sun beating relentlessly down from when it came into the sky, to long after it sunk behind the earth again. You were so hot, so miserable, and now, looking at the cool water just inches from your toes, you couldn’t believe you were hesitating.
“Well, come on! Jump in!” Dean called from where he was already chin deep in the crisp blue pool.
You toed the cool water and glanced at him with a smile before backing up a few steps. In a sprint, you ran and jumped off the edge, cannon balling with a loud splash into the deep end. You broke the surface sputtering and shivering, not anticipating for the water to be that cold.
“Holy shit!” You shrieked, wiping your hair out of your face as you tread water with your legs.
“Shhhh!” Dean laughed, swimming over to you. “Don’t wanna get caught, now, do we?” He took you around your waist and pulled you into him. “Cold?” He asked, and you nodded, teeth chattering. “I think I can help with that.”
He leaned down and kissed you, rubbing his hands up and down your goose-bump covered arms. After a minute, you pressed your hands into his chest, pushing him away gently.
“I thought we were here to swim?” You asked, smirking.
“Oh, we are.” Dean replied. “I just thought I’d remind you that you love me before I do this.” Dean sunk lower in the water, and before you realized what he was doing he grasped his hand around your ankle and pulled you, with a swift yank, under the water again.
