I’m going to say something most people will think is crazy: I think, against all conventional wisdom, that Ginger Rogers is the better dancer of the two, at least when they’re dancing together. Look at her in the gif above.

Today we wish a happy 220th birthday to French painter Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot. Corot’s paintings referenced the neo-classical work that came before him as well as anticipated the plein-air Impressionist painters to come after him.
