Saw this with out reading the original caption which had to do with Simon ascending. But reaction was “WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE YOU JUST KILLED SIMON! YOU CAN’T PUT RUNES ON HUMANS OR VAMPIRES! YOU KILLED MY NERDY BABY” But then I read the caption and relaxed after being an emotional reck
Trailer Review:The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) - Trailer 2. It feels like a long time ago since the first trailer for the City of Bones was released back in October or November, and it really impressed me. But this blew it out of the park for me. Just look at this trailer! If anyone was comparing this to Twilight, oh boy, seriously think again because I believe this trailer has done a brilliant job of differentiating itself from everything else there - and I am so glad. As a fan of the book series, I can say this looks utterly amazing and I am even more excited for this series to hit the big screen.
This trailer just shows that the casting is utter perfection. Look at Simon (Robert Sheehan) totally freaking out with all the supernatural ongoings and making his little witty comments, Jace (Jaime Campbell Bower) just being that strong male persona with that essence of confidence and vulnerability laying under the surface, Alec (Kevin Zegers) being the overprotective parabati and Clary, filled with fear, uncertainty and determination. Lets not forget Isabelle - where she knocks over that blonde guy with the coffee cup - with her sassy-ness. They did a brilliant job of showing all these different types of personalities in one trailer! And that is only included the ‘main leads’ as well! Wow. And all the people who said that Jace and Clary (Jaime and Lily) have no chemistry from the last trailer - I think they won’t be saying that anymore! I love how they've portrayed the action alongside the emotion so well. The glimpses into the Shadowhunter world look incredible! They manage to also ingrate the whole normal ordinary world kind of vibe on screen as well, which is brilliant. The locations look utterly amazing. And I love how Alec (Kevin) is seen speaking in sort of British-ish accent - I’m guessing that’s what the intended Idris accent is anyway. They really have spent an incredible amount of time perfecting this to the bone, and it really does show. I really could not be more pleased with the end result. They really did stay true to the books after all, so it seems. I can’t believe that in less than four months the wait will finally be over. If the trailer is any glimpse into what the film will be … bah! I swear I am getting chills from watching this. I pray and hope this gets the squeals it so needs!
A preview of "Heart by Heart', one of the songs on "The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones" Soundtrack has been released!
And here we have it, a preview of ‘Heart by Heart’ by Demi Lovato, which will be featured in The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones soundtrack! I am excited to hear more of this song, and I’m pretty glad this was chosen for the soundtrack. This song fits the relationship of Clary and Jace so well, by the looks of things. The lyric - “When someone walks into your heart through an open door”, I feel, really resonates with Clary. All her actions and decisions are driven by her heart, and Jace literally crashes into her life and solidifies his presence in her world, and her heart. That arguably is addressed through … “Someone comes into your world, suddenly your world has changed forever.” Maybe I’m reading too into it, but either way - I’m liking the patterns I’m seeing. For some reason, I can imagine this being the backing track for the Greenhouse scene. If done subtly, it could work. Although, I honestly doubt they would have this playing in that scene, the words of the song may overpower the scene entirely! Either way, I have faith in the production team to get this right, they have done so far. Wow, almost a month to go! So exciting ;D What do you think of this song preview?
