‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, George Miller (2015)

My name is Max. My world is fire and blood. Once, I was a cop. A road warrior searching for a righteous cause. As the world fell, each of us in our own ways were broken. It was hard to tell who was more crazy… me… or everyone else.

You can now purchase the Fury Road Bath Bomb Pack, which contains all six of my bath bombs inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road, for a discounted price, from Bucky’s Bomb Yard! This pack contains the following bombs:

Rockatansky Bomb - “My name is Max. My world is fire and blood.” This Max Rockatansky themed bomb is the color of the desert wasteland Max calls home. It’s scented with firewood, masculine musk and a hint of dirt. It’s truly a unique scented bomb and one of my favorites!

Imperator Furiosa Bomb - “Everything hurts out here.” After a long day kicking ass and taking names in the Wastelands, this Furiosa themed bomb is just what you’ll need. Colored like a pair of piercing green eyes smudged with black axle grease, this bomb smells like a mix of sunwashed linens, sand and a undertone hint of clove.

Witness Me! Bomb - “I am awaited in Valhalla! Witness me!” This Nux themed bath bomb has plenty of shiny and chrome, over war boy white. You too will feel awaited in Valhalla while you soak in a mix of key lime and tangerine; a strong, sharp, sweet and yet innocent scent.

Bomb of Many Mothers - The Bomb of Many Mothers is colored like the green place they once protected and the wastelands in which they now dwell. Scented with a sweet mixture of mother earth smells: Cardamom, Cedarleaf, Cedarwood, Fir Needle, Patchouli and Sandalwood with a splash of Grapefruit essential oils.

The Green Place Bomb - The Green Place, a safe haven oasis of greenery and water in the middle of the Wastelands. This bomb will turn your bath into your own personal oasis, turning your water a beautiful blue green and surrounding you with the scent of fresh jasmine and grass sprinkled with rain. This bomb is part of my Mad Max: Fury Road bomb line!

Mother’s Milk Bomb - “What’s This…?” “It’s Mother’s Milk.” Mother’s Milk is a white glitter bomb that will turn your water a milky color as you soak in the scent of oatmeal, milk and honey!

You can purchase this bomb pack HERE! Get your orders in soon before I have to close down the shop to catch up on orders!

I came back from vacation this week to find out that my tablet has officially died.  It had a long and beautiful life.  So now, all digital art will be on hold until I can get a replacement.  BUT!  WHILE I WAS ON VACATION, I SAW MAD MAX AND IT WAS AMAZING.  VERY INSPIRED.  Take this Furiosa sketch as my apology for being awol for the last two weeks!!

This scene where Mad Max took 2 shots at the car with light and missed is so perfectly done. He knew he only had one chance left, as did Furiosa. Instead of ordering him to hand the gun over, Furiosa chose to trust him and merely sat behind him anxiously. In turn, Max knew that last shot was far to precious to waste so he handed the gun over without a single word. His manhood was never questioned or compromised – that, Hollywood, is how to write strong characters without putting down either genders. Take note.
