1962 Epiphone Crestwood Custom White

There’s a lot to be said for the oft over-looked Epiphones of the late 50s and early 60s. They share many characteristics with their Gibson cousins, and sometimes totally outshine and totally out-cool them! Case in point: the Crestwood Custom! Thin asymmetrical body, super rounded edges, a tricked-out rosewood emblazoned vibrato, Mini Humbuckers, oval fingerboard inlays, and the two-toned pickguard all add up to one might purdy package. Nice and roomy 1-11/16" wide necks too. xoxoxo

We’re still trying to get over Prince breaking one of these on a TV appearance last year. Condolences to “Captain” Kirk Douglas of the Roots, hope you got that baby up and running again.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 04 Episode 07-10: The Umbara arch and Paths of Glory (1957) parallels.

I would be surprised if the writers of these episodes weren’t inspired by this movie. Be sure to watch both! Paths of Glory is one of the best war films ever made, the the Umbara arch of The Clone Wars is one of the finest hour and a half of cartoon television I’ve seen.
