This little fella was so much fun to photograph! His special colour (silver dapple) and blue eyes made him stand out immediately, even though he was by far the smallest horse there. As a true stallion he ran across the beach like he owned it, but with his owner he was the sweetest thing, even with the mares around. Shot in Groote Keeten, The Netherlands, with a Canon 600D and a 55-250 lens.
This big, friendly giant was the first horse I photographed that day and I couldn’t have wished for anything better! Not only is he a stunning horse, he also proved to be a great model, standing on the beach calmly, unimpressed by the wind and the sea. The shots of him and Marylon (3rd and 5th picture) all turned out great, they were quite the photogenic pair! Shot in Groote Keeten, The Netherlands, with a Canon 600D and a 55-250 lens.
