The Lido is a cabaret and burlesque show located on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, France.
It opened in 1946. It is known for its exotic shows including dancers, singers, and other performers. Famous names have performed there including: Edith Piaf, Sylvie Vartan, Johnny Hallyday, Maurice Chevalier, Marlene Dietrich, Eartha Kitt, Josephine Baker, Elton John, Laurel & Hardy, Dalida, Shirley MacLaine, Mitzi Gaynor and Noël Coward.

Mixed prints are in according to Calla. The Paris-based line showcased their line with a presentation at Milk Studios and, in my opinion, was the most whimsical.

The design of the dog in the first image is seen throughout the entire collection and that sets the tone: fun and girly.

Paris-based designer Calla Haynes has come a long way from her days roaming the streets of her hometown, Toronto, Canada. After studying design at Parson’s in both New York and Paris, the talented designer went on to assist the ultra-chic Olivier Theyskens before eventually starting her own line and making the permanent move to Paris.

Inspired by the unbearably cool chicks seen roaming the Pacific at the Coachella festival, her most recent collection was a picture of wearable ease.. A palette set off by bright pinks, seafoam blues and soft pale yellow was the perfect dose of Summer to keep us warm on our blustery day running around New York.

CALLA Fall Winter 2014/15 Fashion Film

Fictional K-Pop Country Star Memphis Lily makes her first appearance on French television wearing CALLA Fall Winter 2014/15. The performance is a post-modern homage to the Porter Wagoner Show, the American Country Music Variety Show that made Dolly Parton a household name in the 1960s.
