Having experienced my first full summer
in Japan, I sometimes felt I wasn’t taking advantage of the amazing
weather. Now, at the end of the summer looking thru scanned images on my
hard drive, I’m reminded of some great adventures. Reflecting on summer
in this country is unique; the sound of cicadas buzzing, matsuri
festivals, and impressive fireworks every weekend. These images mostly
consist of random locations; the best moments coming from places I was
invited last minute, or from a tour going unplanned. All of these images
were taken on inexpensive 35mm film cameras. I’ll be making multiple
posts, here’s the first album.
