Test Stone-Untitled Landscape with a Bridge (Distant View after H. Seghers)
stone lithograph in black and emerald, a unique color proof

My recent lithographs utilize freehand tusche-wash applications in the areas of sky, an approach which is rather different from the treatment of the lower part of the image designed combining digital bit-mapping, litho transfer and other analog drawing methods. The amalgamation of the two has allowed for a range of dichotomies to form and coexist: those that depicts composite narratives in which invented topographies are coupled with various structural forms, and those which are suggestive of open spaces, skies, clouds, rain. Both are pure inventions.
