Fashion is changing because of technology. We need to ask how we can better use technology to help the ecosystem of fashion and other industries instead of slowly killing them. On one hand, you have to adapt or die, but on the other hand… is too much and too fast really a good thing?
New York-based, Vietnamese American designer Brandy Pham sometimes feels tough, sometimes sweet, as evidence by her new jewelry line of brass bows, chain wrapped bangles, and grosgrain ribbon-tied pieces.
For today’s post, we asked Brandy Pham how she’d style the pieces from her pop-up collection. Read on for some fantastic tips + tricks from Brandy herself!
Jewelry is the best way to dress up or dress down your outfit! It’s so versatile and I love it when you have options to choose from! The Ribbon Bar Necklace is one of those versatile pieces that can be worn in so many ways. Right now, I’m obsessing over different Chambray button up shirts and how I’m styling my jewelry with them. One of my favorites are from J.Crew like the “Keeper Chambray Shirt” and the “Perfect Shirt in Chambray Polka Dot”.
I love pairing up my Ribbon Bar Necklace with a button up shirt such as a nice Chambray with a few buttons undone to show off my necklace. An extra bonus for this necklace is that it doubles up as a solid Gold option as well as the colored option. Just flip it over and wear the necklace on the other side! I do that all the time. It’s definitely a closet staple that you can wear through all seasons. For fall, I’ll wear my Ribbon Bar Necklace under my buttoned up collar shirt. There’s a cool, ladylike with an edge element to it that I love. Pair it up with one of the rings and the Tiny Bow Studs. I wear the Tiny Bow Studs almost everyday.
