Body Armour

concept: a very tiny swat van pulls up to your house. it says “fun police” on the side. roughly 15 clowns pour out with assault rifles and body armour. the last thing you hear before being gunned down is honking.

11. Your muse slams mine against a wall hard.

Ray was momentarily winded as his back slammed into the hard wall, taking a moment to try to breathe again while looking at Michael with slight confusion in his eyes, almost covered up with the apathy he tended to wear like full-body emotional armour.

Found at Fora here (lots more photos of body chains). Lower left photo: Cornelia Webb Draped Shoulder Piece for $535 at Shopbop.

Modern Day Kyoshi Warriors by ~shibamura-prime

[ Description: A modern day interpretation of the Kyoshi Warriors from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Instead of their normal robes, they wear combat fatigues in Earth Kingdom green, with darker green webbing, brown combat boots, and grey ballistic armour & padding. Their comms units are yellow to evoke their usual head dresses, and beneath their brown hair they all wear the traditional full white face paint with the brilliant red lipstick and eyeshadow that is the trademark of their costume. Led by Suki, they are armed with a variety of smallarms. ]

"Nine of the 14 RCMP officers slain by weapons fire in recent years – including the four who died in one of the deadliest chapters in the force’s history – were killed with rifles or shotguns, which are at least three times more powerful than pistols.”
