Bill actually planned to destroy Dipper’s body and frame it as a suicide. Then he asked Mabel is she wanted the same thing to happen to her. This is seriously so disturbing and I honestly don’t understand how some people think Bill is a “sympathetic villain” because this is just sick.
Instead of erasing Stan’s memories to get rid of Bill, Mabel decides to pull another Gompers and Waddles. Instead of duct tape, she finds Celestabellebethabelle’s hair can trap Bill and his powers just as well! Now these two jerks gotta live with each other.
I dub this the Hair Tie AU
Edit: I think I’m gonna make a small change and say this AU happens once Bill manages to regenerate and escape from what happened in Weirdmageddon. And this was how the twins solved it a second time.
So I went to the Journal 3 book signing at the Grove in West Hollywood today and was able to meet Alex Hirsch and Stephanie Ramirez! I remembered this tweet he made about Boss Baby’s poster, so I made a quip about it.
“Alex, I remembered that tweet you made about that poor Trump Baby with a nasty case of DreamWorks Face. It’s so contagious even your baby caught it!”
And then I showed him this, he seemed pretty surprised that it was a final still from the show.
I then asked him to draw a quick “DreamWorks Dipper” along with his autograph.
I have a theory based on the secret page of the new Time Pirates book, the one with the axolotl that Bill invokes in the finale for the show - who gives Dipper and Mabel some very interesting information about our favorite floating triangle and the terms of his resurrection (included under the read more.)
Basically: I have a cool idea about how Bill is going to come back. Or should I say, came back?
((I would love to hear what y’all think. Also, a big thanks to everyone I rambled to about this spoiler [most of whom I ended up tagging below ayy] as well as @fordtato for walking me through general spoiler theory post etiquette!))
