Chapter 1: That Girl is Poison

Running down the streets of Gotham City, the Batmobile right on Ivy’s tail. Ivy quickly conjured a dozen vines, wrapping itself around the Batmobile, suddenly stopping it. Ivy took a moment to admire her work before turning around quickly and running down an alley, making it to a brick wall, she examined it before deciding to turn around but a force slammed her against the wall and pinned her arms above her head.

“B Man” she exclaimed, “Ivy, what are you doing?” Batman almost spat. “What do you think I’m doing?” she rolled her eyes. “Hijacking a construction site by covering it with plants and vines, and killing the workers” Batman stated, “aw, it’s no fun when you know everything” she pouted. “What happened to you?” Bat asked, “what happened to you? You used to be so chill” she shot back. “When was I ever ‘chill’ with your actions?” he questioned, “you weren’t actively trying to catch me when I threatened to release suffocating spores in the air, it was kind of a–run in” she shrugged.

Batman released her arms and she stretched out her arms, “tight grip there B” she said. “When will you stop?” Bat asked, “when the world is cleansed, purified, rid of horrible humanity” she said. Batman sighed leaving a silence between them.

Ivy examined him, letting the silence pass by before raising her leg up and kicking him across the face, throwing him into the brick wall, creating a crumbling dent.

Once the Batman shook his head out of the daze, his legs had vines around them, being stuck to the ground.

He looked around and Ivy was long gone.

Batman mentally cursed himself, letting her get away once again, he couldn’t hurt her, he didn’t know why, not physically at least, heck not even emotionally, he had to admit, she was a villain with a good reason, just wanting the Earth to be green and healthy.

Ivy got to her secret apartment, taking off green dress and boots, drawing the warm bath water, adding natural soap and sinking into it, letting her body slid into the warm water and closed her eyes, dreaming of the what the world can be, and what potential it has.

Her daydream was soon interrupted when she heard a loud disturbance down the stairs, she shot up in her bathtub and furrowed her eyebrows. “Hello?” she called out, she heard loud stomping and the sounds of metal on metal.

Slipping out of the tub and grabbing a towel, wrapping it around herself, the door to the bathroom was broken down and in came soldiers, gun pointing at her. She screamed but was to late on any of her actions, for a simple pull of a trigger from a tranquilizer gun, and she was instantly out and fell to the ground.

A/N: Hope you liked it! BTW, she is not played by Shay Mitchell, I’m just using Shay’s gifs because, what Ivy looks like in my head looks nothing like Shay Mitchell, but I have a crush on Shay so it gives me a reason to look her up.
