Banditos

Tango For Three

The last, echoing tones of the latest band practice rung out throughout the fort that made out Protos’ hive, the indigoblood in question as always finishing his last solo with a roaring laughter. The current “band” wasn’t much in itself, only consisting of himself and Seibros. Of course, that was all but set in stone and he was already planning on searching for a drummer online or something similar. They were already getting good, they just needed more people.

The hulking troll walked to his husktop, turned off the background track the two had used for practice and turned back towards his fellow band member with a grin.

“((o)) GOINNG WELL SO FAR!! I THINNK WE’RE READY TO ACTUALLY SET UP A GIG SOMMWEHRE BY NNOW!! ((o))”

A bit too optimistic, maybe, but he didn’t mind. They kicked ass. Rocked. The only thing left was to actually get some gigs going and making names for themselves. All in all, things were actually looking up.

My friend is on her way to Texas and watched something about the slave trade in Mexico and was worried so I prepared a letter just in case:

Dear Machete,

My friend has been kidnapped by banditos and I need your help getting her back. I would do it myself but I don’t have the right skill set(movie trivia, being good at Call of Duty and being a fantastic kisser won’t help the situation) and every one liner I can think of sounds really racist if I say it.

xoxo

P.S. You were great in Spy Kids

Lupin III AMV with “Banditos” from the Refreshments, by Brad DeMoss. It’s Brad’s b-day so I am celebrating with his classic AMVs, some of the best ever made!

History was kind of made at the bar I work at last night. We hosted the GWAR B-Q after party because Dave used to hang out there a lot. We had bands playing and it was packed.

But there was this band playing called Polkadot Cadaver and they decided they were going to play their cover of the Dead Kennedys song Holiday in Cambodia. Little did we know that Jello Biafra (singer for Dead Kennedys) would get up on stage and sing it for them. He was there for Dave’s memorial service earlier so I guess he decided to stay.

It was super cool and I wanted to share.
