It’s hard to say what is happening this photograph. There are many photographs in the collection that have little to no information associated with them. This is common for glass negatives and more so for cased photographs. Although it is not ideal, I think photographs that lack identification are still important and should be exhibited in some way.

Mr. O'Neill, MdHS Senior Reference Librarian, was kind enough to inform me that what was known as China Street ran south from Lee Street, between Warner and Eutaw. This picture was taken where the M&T Bank Stadium and Camden Yards is now.
