I just saw a adorable video of a mother trying to do her chores but her baby keeps on making a mess and she has to keep on doing everything all over again, and i was wondering if you can do a mommy astrid drabble where she can't get anything done because of her baby

Author’s Note: Back to my favorite pastime of fulfilling drabble requests! Now that my work “week” is over, I can function like a normal human being again…until my next 12-hour night shift. *sigh*

Thank you, requesters, for being patient with me while I stagger through my horrid fluctuating schedule of sleep deprivation, and subsequent over-sleeping.

Astrid had just finished gathering up the last few pieces of the shattered ceramic mug, scattered about the floor. It was amazing how an entire day could pass by, and she feel as though she had not accomplished anything noteworthy, despite being plenty busy. She was not accustomed to appearing unproductive to the outside observer, but having a baby tended to rearrange one’s life a bit. Her time was less dedicated to leisurely flying, combat training, and dragon racing as it once had been. She also had less opportunity to aid Hiccup in managing the village.

No. In recent months, her life was much more about domestic tasks, of which there were plenty to do, mounting faster than she could check them off her list.

I’m not your second option GOD DAMN. You had your chance, threw it away & now you’re back because nothing else worked out???? Fuck you

You know how I know I was made for this industry? Because one of the scouts at my modelling agency commented saying that she thought whoever did my hair colour did an amazing job and I should continue to get my hair done by them.

In reality, I just did a botched home job which was supposed to dye my red hair back to brown and didn’t quite work properly so now I have random bits of red showing through and apparently it works so hey whatever ;)

Things didn’t work out because, well, greater things were in the works. It’s so difficult while we’re blind and hurting and don’t know which way is up. But, if you have faith in anything, have faith in the fact that the universe has a beautiful way of straightening things out far better than we ever could. You may not see it today or tomorrow, but you will look back in a few years and be absolutely perplexed and awed by how every little thing added up and brought you somewhere wonderful– or where you always wanted to be. You will be grateful that things didn’t work out the way you once wanted them to.

AU where they actually had the friendship I always wanted them to have

My piece for the Let’s Draw Sherlock project! (The idea was that everyone draws from the same ref image but in their own style, to celebrate the diversity between Sherlock artists!)

I changed up John’s expression and sort of… interpreted (read: got lazy with) the wallpaper, but otherwise painted it as closely as I could. Spent about two days on this and could probably spend more but I’m barely under the deadline here… Prints will probably be up later at my Society6 shop!
