Author’s Note: Back to my favorite pastime of fulfilling drabble requests! Now that my work “week” is over, I can function like a normal human being again…until my next 12-hour night shift. *sigh*

Astrid had just finished gathering up the last few pieces of the shattered ceramic mug, scattered about the floor. It was amazing how an entire day could pass by, and she feel as though she had not accomplished anything noteworthy, despite being plenty busy. She was not accustomed to appearing unproductive to the outside observer, but having a baby tended to rearrange one’s life a bit. Her time was less dedicated to leisurely flying, combat training, and dragon racing as it once had been. She also had less opportunity to aid Hiccup in managing the village.
