psa. okay I’m sure this has been covered before, somewhere, but it seems as though it needs to be repeated. just because my muse is canon and you are a fan of their canon material does not mean you should assume things concerning my particular portrayal. please do not assume you know exactly how they will react, what’s going on in their heads, what they will do next, so on and so forth. every roleplayer is different. we all write our muses differently. for all you know, we might have scrapped a good chunk of canon material or are completely canon divergent (even though, to a degree, everyone here has to be a bit canon divergent) and some of the events we’ve added in, or taken out, might have altered the way our muse functions. hell, we might write a version that’s entirely au. be smart about communication. ask, don’t tell. read a roleplayer’s guidelines, biography, stats pages, and headcanons. if you disagree, please refrain from telling the writers they are wrong. all that’s going to do is result in someone not wanting to interact with you and, quite frankly, they aren’t wrong. that’s the beauty of roleplay, right? unique people, unique portrayals.
long story short? you control your muse. I’ll control mine. thanks.
