I seriously don’t like to compare Callie and Arizona’s love interests to either Callie or Arizona because, they’re obviously different characters. The physical similarities are not even that big of a deal to me because I like to see it as they have a type so brunette/blonde doesn’t matter that stuff to me. But… making her an ortho surgeon is like (?) Was that necessary?

My approach usually is just to look for the emotional truth in the story. You know, regardless of whether it’s a foster kid on the run from the army or about a boy who’s obsessed with Michael Jackson or some vampires living together in a flat in Wellington. I really believe that if you based your story in some sort of emotional authenticity then you’re gonna be okay. And that’s what I’m trying to do with the superhero thing.
