Gabriel: Eeeeh. That’s a bit complicated. You see, Heaven time runs a little differently than Earth time. With so many of us, it wasn’t like we popped out of the oven one at a time like humans. There was a lot of overlapping going on. As for movies, it depends. I can dig 80′s comedies like Weekend at Bernie’s, Ground Hog’s Day, Ghostbusters…

Raphael: It was likely the garrison that contained both Samandriel and Hael. Unless that garrison shared a certain naive quality. They were rather hopeful…and to a fault. I prefer books.

Michael: The younger garrisons often did not understand the gravity of the choices made by the angels that had been around from the beginning. It was difficult to explain myself when some were not present or did not remember the earliest days in Heaven. As for movies, I prefer action movie or strategy and war movies. I enjoy Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbor.

Lucifer: I liked the fledglings! They were emotional balls of feathers and turmoil. It was easy to win over a third of them to my cause. Such precious little soldiers. I enjoy the movie The Devil’s Advocate.

I love love love this ! There is such a vulnerability in this fic that I adore, and the fact that  even though he won’t  talk about it, Gabriel still comes to Sam for comfort is the best! - Lauren

There are a couple authors who never fail to deliver *points* even if the topic at hand is not something I’d usually read. This fic is a great example: vulnerability doesn’t really mix with my idea of Gabriel, but when it’s done well, it only shows the talent of an author. Great read~cee

James C. LewisIcons Of The Bible

The series, which will be fully released in October, features 70 models who identify as either Asian, Native American, Hispanic, African, Middle Eastern, Black American and West Indian.

“I think it is very important to see one’s self in the Scripture so that it may become real in their eyes,” Lewis told The Huffington Post. “The whitewashing of the Bible has always bothered me. However I’m happy to now have the opportunity to give a different point of view.”

“I wish to exhibit a splash of color onto the biblical pages of history with my creative embellishments. By doing so I hope to open the minds and eyes of the ignorant and create open conversations of how we can learn to see the world through colorful lenses. After all, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is intended for everyone.”

For those who’d like to see the entire collection, “Icons Of The Bible” will on display from November 2014 to February 2015 in Atlanta, GA.
