I’m going digital! I got myself an iPad and Apple Pencil.

Practicing writing with the AP using the GoodNotes app, the pencil is a little weighty towards the end but I just need to get used to using it.

Also after managing to evade it for a month, I have finally succumbed to Freshers Flu o(╥﹏╥)

Even though I am completely and utterly convinced that this is to be the end of me and have begun making funeral preparations, a friend pointed out that my fever may have made me just a touch dramatic, so I’m continuing to do my homework before picking out a coffin just yet.

How is your Japanese Studies going???

It occurs to me that there are a great many recent pieces of art that I haven’t been able to share with tumblr! By way of catching you up a little bit, let me introduce you to the Wingfeather Saga! A book series that we are adapting to an animated pilot for a series :) I’m the official production designer and as such I’ve also designed the principle cast of ragamuffin little lovies!

1.10.18// a calm little moment on this monday morning ✨ unfortunately, my mid-semester break has come to an end (*cries*). I had a horrible endo flare up for the first week of it and family commitments in the second week so suffice to say I got zero work done. It’s now time to jump back into the thick of it for the second half of the semester.

Today’s the day!! If he were still alive, Jack Kirby would have been 100!!! So much stuff in comics pop culture and superhero art and film, (especially Marvel) owe it immensely to the imagination of Jack “the King” Kirby!! I hope you all have enjoyed my ABC tribute and this bonus piece, it had been a long time coming and hopefully a worthy tribute to the King of Comics. Happy Birthday Jack!!!

After watching that very rad Adventure Zone: Balance trailer, and listening back through Rockport Limited with @erikaschnellert this weekend, I felt the mighty need to make some fanart!
Rockport era Magnus Burnsides, drawn to scratch the itch in my heart where an Adventure Zone animated movie wants to be. Gahhh I love this podcast ^_^
