“I can’t wait to get back to Boise,” Walker said in a released and certainly cleaned up statement. “It’s a great place to live and I’m hoping I can help this team make the playoffs and win a championship – we’ve got some unfinished business to tend to.”

Antoine Walker can’t wait to get back to Boise to help the D-League juggernaut(?) Idaho Stampede get back to the top of the mountain…of the D League.

Antoine Walker announced his retirement on Saturday. The former Kentucky Wildcat played 12 NBA seasons, mostly for the Celtics and highlighted by his championship with the Heat in 2006. Walker had been attempting an NBA comeback with the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League this season and averaged 9.5 points and 5 rebounds in 25 minutes per game.
