it was awesome. There’s nothing better than working with
Nash. He came and helped me a lot on ‘The Gift.’ I went and helped him a
lot on [his film] - acting and just hanging around.”
movie’s fantastic. It’s a thriller in the vein of 'Fargo’ and "Burn After Reading.' And it’s a caper about a guy (David Oyelowo) going into Mexico and getting
kidnapped. It has a sense of humour but it’s dangerous.”-
– Joel Edgerton talking about working with his brother on Nash’s as yet untitled second feature film with David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, and Amanda Seyfried
In the mood for a very, very rare money shot. Received 6k today - very surprisingly, but I am not going to complain :) The rest is ‘safely’ tucked away in my bank account - but I am going to treat myself to yet another little shopping spree now. I need new Rockstuds!
Yesterday was my birthday, so we planned a last minute getaway to Malibu this past weekend. We rented this incredible Airstream in the middle of nowhere, on a cliff overlooking the ocean. I got to take photos, relax with my guy and dog, eat birthday cake (my favorite: carrot), watch the sun set, and see the squid boat lights turn on far, far below. Not a bad way to say so long to 31 and hello to year 32.
[Note: I’m an Amex Ambassador. American Express has partnered with Airbnb now, which means we can book rentals faster and use Amex points to pay.]
