I’m not sure there’s anything I can say to explain or describe this video, so I’ll just segue right into some caveats and stuff: Yes I’m into The Adventure Zone now! No this isn’t the big animation I was thinking of for it. Creative liberties were taken with a lot of the scenes in this video–I’m sure I messed up plenty of design/narrative details–and headcanons will be subject to change in the future! That’s about it!
Song: T.I.M.E. by Neil Cicierega Program Used: Adobe Photoshop CS6
I’ve been working on this since March of 2013, so it’s been a long time coming! You can see more about it by browsing the posts here.
This is an animated music video for the Alternian ancestors–characters in the webcomic Homestuck whose epic story is only ever relayed via exposition. This gave me plenty of leeway for creativity, but I did my best to stay as true to what we’re told as possible and I hope you enjoy it!

Tutorial: Making the Shot - Pleasant Surprise (Complete Pack)
Hey everyone! So for the past few weeks, I’ve been releasing my first video tutorials regarding making an animated shot from scratch - to its final image. I decided to put them all in one Post so its easy to find! The shot is a remake from a film I did years ago, Crayon Dragon. I hope you guys find this useful in the future! Also if there’s some topics you’d like me to cover, please send them over here! firstname.lastname@example.org
I’ll also try and post tutorials and tips on sbworkshop.tumblr.com so I can just focus on adding my art on my own blog.
