Demi Lovato at National Alliance of Mental Health #Act4MentalHealth

Mental illness doesn’t discriminate.Mental health matters and must be taken seriously. We have the power to make a difference.Getting the right diagnosis did not happen overnight.Today I am so thankful for my life and I want to preserve and protect it.I want to become the strongest and most informed mental health advocate I can be.I am living proof that someone can live love and thrive with bipolar disorder. It’s time for congress to #act4mentalhealth by passing a comprehensive mental health bill this year!Comprehensive care means reaching people early so fewer people fall through the cracks.I want to show the world that there is life after a mental health diagnosis.I’m proud of getting the help I need and you can have that too.
