“I don’t think we would write the kind of music we do, if we hadn’t established a friendship before then. There's  a sense of trust, understanding and acceptance. We feel open enough to basically express very emotional parts of ourselves. It’s hard to do with just anyone”.

Magazine Company AU

So guys, I recently re-watched 13 Going On 30, and recently, an AU struck me. Now, AU’s usually don’t come to me that easily. I love reading others, but I’ve never been creative enough to come up with one on me own, until this little gem hit me. I had a bit of help from my good friend @justakittyinboots! I still don’t know if i’m going to write out this AU, but your welcome to draw for it, write for it, etc! Enjoy reading about it! If you have any suggestions of characters I should include or you have an elaboration/question, feel free to drop an ask in my mailbox! Thanks!

An original story being told in installments. Laurel Finn is not what she seems – and neither is the story she’s been asked to write.

“Come here,” Jayce beckoned softly, his tone husky and warm. He held his hand out to her and she took it, a shiver running down her spine as her fingers met his.

“Ophelia,” he growled in her ear, and she fought back a helpless whimper as he turned her gently, pulling her back against the hard, angular expanse of his chest.

“This is a bad idea,” she managed, gasping as though he’d lit a fire in her lungs. “Jayce – this, whatever this is – it can’t happen between us. This is crazy – ”

She could feel the exact placement of his lips as he chuckled against her neck. “True,” he said simply, grazing his teeth across her skin. “Though if I weren’t a little crazy, I think I’d go insane.”

He spun her around, pushing her back against the wall – and somehow, despite her best intentions, she found herself stretched out against him, letting her errant fingers stray to the band of his trousers.

“Take your time, Jayce,” she whispered, pressing her nails into his back and feeling a rush of power as he groaned weakly into her shoulder. “We’ve got all night.”

There was a sharp rap against the open frame of her office door.

“Finn, I’m going to need the files for the deposition – I’m leaving in 20.”

She jumped, her back rigid against her orthopedic office chair. “Right,” she called back, quickly closing out of the open document.
