Eyes Through Gaps (Flash Fiction #380)
You know that slight gap a lot of doors have, that thin space between the bottom and the floor where you can look through and see what’s on the other side? Well, the more you squint, the more you can see.
I used to love walking past them, either in public or at home, and pressing my eyes right up to that gap. You can see the lower halves of people’s feet and things that are left on the ground and you can tell if someone is there. Give it a try, it’s a great way to pass the time.
