Read at OWS Reading at AC Gallery – Holly Crawford, one outrageous conceptual poet/performer, is Director – where Susan Yung’s terrific free-floating protest sign is hanging. Great reading with Jeff Wright, Holly Anderson, and Oh My Yes Savatri and Rev. Billy, whose darling daughter stole the show… Susan’s protest sign is for Danny Chen, the 19 year old private from Chinatown who was brutalized and killed by his fellow US Soliders in Afghanistan.

I don’t think I told you guys

But there was a person at my graduation wearing like full highland garb and a helmet

I later found out they also had a claymore, but the rules are you leave all weapons at the door, so obviously it wasn’t in the room during the ceremony, but it was in the picture…

Do you know how worried I was that I was hallucinating?

Part of our Gallery Shorts series, we interview glass designer and maker – and pathway leader for our BA (Hons) Glass programme – Glenn Carter.

Glenn was one of six designer-makers, all college staff, who showed their work for our ‘Live Make’ exhibition in the Gallery at Plymouth College of Art, which ran from 27 April to 6 June 2015.

Glenn has been working in glass for the last thirty years, extensively in the field of architectural glass. His work has a strong affinity with architecture found within landscape and the notion of apertures.

With thanks to Los Campesinos! for allowing us the use of their music –www.loscampesinos.com
