Throwback to 1992 when En Vogue released their album “Funky Divas.” The albums’ first two tracks “My Lovin (You’re Never Gonna Get It) and "Giving Him Something He Can Feel” both made top ten pop and peaked at No. 1 on the R&B charts.
It’s a Saturday night and everyone’s at a house party, but Eddie doesn’t drink and Richie got bored an hour in. Instead they drive to their favourite place. Sitting under the stars, legs hanging over the edge of the Quarry’s cliff side. Richie fools around, peering over the edge, if he fell he could swim but he’s a bit tipsy and that worries Eddie. Richie smokes cigarettes and digs into a six pack of beer. They leave the car radio on and can hear it from where they sit, playing 90’s top hits.

Richie stops mid sentence, obviously distracted by something, and Eddie wonders what caused him to trail off. Until he looks up at Richie and Richie is looking at him, and not just looking at him but looking at him in a way that snags Eddie breath. Eddie pulls an inhaler from his fanny pack, never breaking eye contact as he breathes his medicine in. Richie looks confused but brave…. suddenly there is no space between them at all….
