U.S. Army Ranger Joseph “Kap” Kapacziewski lost his right leg - his knee down - due to damage sustained from an enemy grenade in Northern Iraq on October 3rd, 2005.
After the amputation of his leg, Kap served an additional 5 combat tours in Afghanistan as a Squad Leader with the 75th Ranger Regiment - all with a prosthetic leg.
