Stay true to yourself!!!!
26. Naivitatea se plătește.

The post no-one was waiting for (but that I’m doing anyway) pt.2

Dearly Beloved,

here we are gathered here today to get through this thing called Men’s Free Program – last group.

Usual warnings apply, this post may become quite long. If you feel offended by anything I write, asks box is there for you.

ISU Feed was horrible, but sadly that’s all we got since fancams are few and far between. For reference (and also because Uncle Kurt says some very interesting things about jumps) CBC broadcast here:

Let’s Go.

Barzal and Skjei are the same person from different timelines that somehow both got stuck in this one, proof:

  • Both white brunettes which is shown above
  • The only picture that exists of both of them at the same time is also shown above
  • one is on the rangers one is on the islanders
  • Brady Skjei born March 27th. Mat Barzal Born May 26th.
  • Skjei’s number is 76. 27th 26th.
  • Barzal’s number is 13. 1 + 3 = 4. Brad Skjei was born in 1994
  • 7+6 (skjei’s number) = 13 (Barzal’s number)
  • Skjei is an american defender who went the NCAA route. Barzal is a Canadian forward who went the CHL route.
  • Their height difference is 3 inches. Their age difference is 3 years (skjei was born in 1994 and Mat Barzal was born in 1997)
  • Barzal weighs 182 pounds according to NHL.com and Skjei weighs 211 pounds. 1 + 8 + 2 = 11. 2 + 11 = 13.
  • Skjei is from Lakeville which has 9 letters in it. Barzal is from Coquitlam which also has 9 letters.
  • Skjei was drafted 28th overall and Barzal was drafted 16th overall. 28 - 16 = 12 and 12 + 16 = 28.
SVU S18 - Correct Order

Assuming the remaining episodes won’t be reshuffled, I feel I can semi-safely post the original, “correct” order of all the S18 episodes, to help anyone who might want to rewatch this season in the order the writers intended (who knows, maybe it’ll make more sense that way).

SVU Season 18 - Complete Episode List

  1. Terrorized (18x01)
  2. Making a Rapist (18x02)
  3. Imposter (18x03)
  4. Unstoppable (n/a, the T*rump episode, will never air)
  5. Heightened Emotions (18x04)
  6. Broken Rhymes (18x06)
  7. Rape Interrupted (18x05)
  8. Great Expectations (18x11)
  9. Decline and Fall (18x09)
  10. No Surrender (18x12)
  11. Motherly Love (18x10)
  12. Next Chapter (18x07)
  13. Chasing Theo (18x08)
  14. Know It All (18x15)
  15. Genes (18x13)
  16. Net Worth (18x14)
  17. The Newsroom (18x16)
  18. Real Fake News (18x17)
  19. Spellbound (18x18)
  20. Conversion (18x19)
  21. American Dream (18x20)
  22. Sanctuary (18x21)

I hope this helps any masochists viewers who intend to rewatch the mess that is/was S18. I count 12 episodes airing out of order (episodes 4 through 15), not including the unaired T*rump episode. So literally half the season :D

Detailed breakdown, for anyone who’s interested:

SVU S18 Airing Order - Updated

(The original version is here. Updates are marked below in red. I believe this version is more accurate, and I’ve also included the more recent episodes*.)

From what I gather, this is the airing order of Season 18 of SVU so far:

1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 6, 12, 13, 9, 11, 8, 10, 15, 14

Here’s how I worked it out (yes, I said I wouldn’t dig any further, but the Barba reshuffle riled me up):

There you have it.

*I’m including the upcoming episodes in order of production, so we’ll be able to know if they’re shuffled around as well. Also, as always, feel free to correct me.

I did this week’s tempo run after work and cut it to 7 miles due to time. The temperature was perfect, but where did this wind come from??

When there are cars around, I prefer to do my pace runs on a one-ish mile neighborhood loop. Boring, but safe. Half of each loop was coasting, and the other half was putting my head down and battling the 16mph wind to that next turn.

The headwind hurts more than the tailwind helps, so I was pleasantly surprised to average the same 6:17 pace that I pulled off last week for 8 miles. The progress has been great, but I’m a little worried I’m doing too much too soon. Might scale the intensity back a little next week to make sure I’m not overstressing my body.
