5x7

Nasciamo, viviamo, moriamo.

Can we just talk about Season 5 Episode 7 The Curious Case of Dean Winchester? Bobby and Dean adamantly didn’t want Sam to play against the witch. Both of them thought Sam couldn’t do it, wasn’t good enough. Even SAM didn’t know if he could do it. But he did. He won. He beat the man who had hustled both Dean and Bobby – both seasoned poker players and hustlers. Sure, Sam hustled, but he definitely took a backseat to Dean and Bobby. But Sam WON, with the odds against him, Dean in the middle of a heart attack, Sam KNOWING Dean was in trouble. Sam won. And THAT is just one of the ways Sam Winchester proved his friends, his family, and himself (and the fans),  that he was just as smart, just as amazing as anyone else. Or, one could argue, even better than others.
