Predicting Future Child’s Sign

So I’ve been researching this topic on and off so I thought I’d make a post about it now.
Some of the information I write is subject to change, this is just info I’ve gathered and wanted to share with others and let them have their take on it.

So I have discovered that astrology can predict the sign/dominant influence of your future children. Now, the methods of predicting this, I have no idea how well it works or if it works at all, but I think it’s kind of fun to look at and it worked in my family’s charts.

The first method is simply looking at your rising sign and sun sign. It is very common for the person’s children to have their parent’s rising sign as their sun sign and vice versa.
For example, my mother is a Sagittarius Rising with an Aquarius sun and my biological father is a Gemini Rising with a Pisces sun.
I carried over my mother’s rising sign as my sun sign. My brother carried over my father’s rising sign.
I believe this also works with moon signs as well. My brother took my mother’s sun sign as his moon (so he’s a Gemini sun/Aquarius moon).

Whether you see this method in your charts/parent’s charts/future children’s charts, you should specifically notice a lot of Conjunctions, Oppositions, and Squares between you and your family members in your inner planets (sun, moon, rising). Hopefully just conjunctions and oppositions because squares usually mean a rough relationship between you and your parents or a not so great childhood.

The next method is looking to the 5th House. The 5th house represents everything you create whether it be something related to art or the children you bring into this world.
For predicting one’s children through the 5th house, it is important to look at both parent’s charts to get the full idea. You can look at one chart alone, but it may not paint the whole picture.
Look to see if there’s any planets in the 5th house. Zero planets doesn’t mean you are denied children (it’s just not a priority in your life. Keep in mind that stuff can still transit into your 5th house), but having planets in there can help describe what your child will be like.
Sun in the 5th House
Higher chance of your first born to be male. Possibly a strong Leo or Sun influence to their chart. Strong likelihood of spoiling this child more than the others (if this goes on for their whole childhood they kind of become a “mama’s boy”). The child’s energy will naturally carry over some fiery traits.

Moon in the 5th House
Higher chance of your first born to be female, lots of children in general if the individual has a water/earth moon sign that isn’t badly aspected. Possibly with a strong Cancer or Lunar influence to their chart. This placement makes for very caring children. The child’s energy will be pretty watery and emotional; maybe even moody at times.

Mercury in the 5th House
I believe the chance for a male or female child is equal, maybe even a chance for twins, especially if the individual has a lot of Mercurial/Mutable influences in their chart. Possibly a strong Gemini/Mercurial influence to the child’s chart. This will make for a very talkative, charismatic, jack of all trades type child. The child’s overall energy will be very airy/mutable.

Venus in the 5th House
Higher chance of your first born to be a female. Possibly a strong Venusian or Libra influence to their chart. The child is likely to be quite popular, beautiful, and artistic; all of the elegant traits that come along with Libras. The overall energy is quite feminine and airy.

Mars in the 5th House
Higher chance of your first born to be a male, if not, you can expect a female child to be very tom boyish. Possibly a strong Mars or Aries influence to the child’s chart. The child will most likely pursue anything sporty or active. The child’s overall energy should be quite fiery and masculine.

Jupiter in the 5th House
No specific indication whether the first born will be male or female, but it will definitely have a prominent Jupiter or Sagittarius influence to their chart. The child will be very interested in their parent’s spirituality and morals and will learn a lot from their parent. The child will have high philosophical views and view life to its fullest.

Saturn in the 5th House
No specific indication where the first born will be male or female, however if the individual with this placement decides to have children, it probably won’t be until they are a lot older. That’s where it gets complicated because the people who have a child when they’re older tend to encounter issues with the child whether it be deformities, illnesses, or relationship issues between the parent and the child. So if you have this placement and don’t want children, don’t leave it too long to change your mind. The child will most likely be quite earthy and very disciplined in their younger years.

Uranus in the 5th House
No specific indication whether the first born will be male or female. The child will most likely have a very strong Aquarian/Uranus influence to their chart. You can expect the typical Aquarian traits in this child; eccentricity, rebellious, freedom fighter, etc. The overall energy the child carries will be airy.

Neptune in the 5th House
No specific indication whether the first born will be male or female. The child is likely going to have a strong Piscean/Neptune influence in their chart. The child will have a vast imagination and day dream quite a bit. Very sensitive and may even develop some psychic abilities. The overall energy the child carries is watery.

Pluto in the 5th House
Possibility of either a male or female child with this placement. The child is likely going to have a Scorpio/Pluto influence to their chart. If the child is male, he is likely going to be quite handsome. The child may be secretive or hides their feelings from the parent, especially if the parent’s relationship with the child isn’t strong. The overall energy the child carries is almost a mix of fire and water.

Now I know what you’re thinking, “first child? What about others?”
The next part of the method explains how to figure out the second child. When we look to our second, and third, and fourth child, we look a house over. The second child is predicted in the 7th house, third child in the 9th house, and so on. The reading for the planets in the 7th, 9th, 11th, etc are the same as the 5th, but they just correspond to whichever child is next (example; Venus in the 7th house means the second child is likely to be female…).

I used this method on my parent’s charts to see if they accurately predicted me and my brother.
In my father’s 5th house, he has Pluto. My brother was born a Scorpio rising and Pluto being third most dominant planet in his chart. In my mother’s 7th house, she has Jupiter. I was born a Sagittarius sun dominant. Furthermore, my mother has the moon in the 5th house which lead to her being the dominant guardian of my brother and I (Moon in the 5th house make for good mothers).

Some additional notes I’ve gathered on conceiving children…
Bad placements for conceiving children,
-Lack of major aspects to the moon in a woman’s chart
-Malefic Mars aspects (especially if the person has Pluto in a child bearing house)
-Saturn in the 5th house (not impossible, but read above about it)
-If Mars is in the 5th house with harsh aspects

Special placements meaning other things,
-Neptune and Uranus in a child bearing house (especially 5th) can mean adoption.
-If Moon, Mars, and Venus are in duel signs and aspected to Mercury, there will be a high chance of twins. If the planets are in masculine signs, expect male twins. In feminine signs, expect female twins. If a mix of the two, one male, one female.
-An individual with a strong, harmonious sun-mars aspect are more likely to have male children. With a strong, harmonious sun-venus aspect, female children.

Might add onto this in the future, but for now, enjoy! If you have any questions let me know.

Chart Overlay Series

Sun in your Partner’s House  (Synastry/Compatibility)

Other than synastry compatibility based off aspects, and of course planets and asteroids, astrology has much more depth in compatibility. In a synastry chart overlay, one person’s natal birth chart is layered on top of another person’s chart to show how your signs, planets, and houses work together. Especially where their planets are in your chart. It’s this that explains why rising signs are so important, you can still use this if you don’t know their time, but you’ll need to know at least one person’s time. You of course will have more understanding with both rising signs. The point is to see where their/your planet falls in your/their chart and the specific house, to see the influence it has on your relationship and bond. Remember to take both combinations of yours and theirs together. If you don’t know their rising and therefore their houses, look at their planets in your houses for now. These are the characteristic of their/your sun, in your/their house:

Your sun in their first

A really good blend of energies, as it builds self-confidence in each other because of how complimentary this placement is. Both of you seem to click together very well because of how alike you guys are to each other, always being on the same page. In fact, you guys probably drive each other to do the best. The sun has a strong sense of expression that opens the first house person thirst to do the same; it’s often a cooperating energy or competitive energy. I definitely think their is potential to click well though, similarities smoothen and compliment the bond like icing on the cake; there is a promise of attraction.

Your sun in their second

The sun person admires the house person a lot and builds their esteem. It makes them feel loved and talented so in turn the house person spoils and treasures the sun person. It can help put the house person’s energy to create more material security. The problem is that the Sun person may become too dependent financially on the house person and make them feel used, or the house person can become too dependent on the sun person to build self-esteem. All in all, this is the house of possessions so you guys help each other financially grow and feel secure. This isn’t necessarily all work and no play, you guys desire each other a lot and can become possessive of each other.

Your sun in their third

Both of you will have strong mental connection, creating intellectual rapport and similar interests. Their won’t be many misunderstandings, as the sun person makes the house person feel understood. There’s promise of deep talks and conversations that seem endless and have no expiration timing, they could go on forever. It also means that you guys can communicate well in other forms other than verbal communication, such as writing, texting, and perhaps ways a long-distance relationship can benefit from. This placement actually plays well if you guys are around each other physically, as you guys feel very comfortable with each other. It’s not an emotional connection, so make sure planets or other overlays form that.

Your sun in their fourth

It may feel like a deep and meaningful connection, almost an instant attraction. You often find home within each other, and perhaps make each other get a taste of home or family that’s far away. The house person makes the sun person feel comfortable with talking about family and other deep issues/topics ,letting them confine to the house person. The sun person always wants to protect and defend the house person, as the house person is deeply sensitive towards them. You both can be emotional dependent on each other, as it lets out the youthful aura in the house person. Regardless there is a strong connection between you two.

Your sun in their fifth

It’s a very playful and beautiful overlay; it unleashes love, playfulness, romance, and so much more. Both of you are active together and perhaps risky, always having fun in life. The problem is you look at this house for dating (dating is short-term) so you have to make sure the flame doesn’t die out, because it’ll be frustrating for you both when the honeymoon phase dies out (of course other placements matter). You guys may want children, and this can be challenged if the sun is harshly aspected. Both of you may be jealous and possessive but this is more shown from the sun person. Nonetheless you both have romance boiling between each other with a zest of fun. It screams fire, just like the sign ruling this house.

Your sun in their sixth

With this overlay, you have to be careful not to give too much servitude to each other as it can go unbalanced, as one can do too much. You guys seem to build and understand an orderly routine together, even if it’s discussing work or helping each other with health and/or other duties. You guys may be critical of each other. The sun person can help their health a lot, as their efforts in work too. It makes me paint the picture that you both are reliable and stable to each other, it’s very supportive. Difficult aspects can make many of these things a burden, like being completely criticized and overly watched over. Almost like being babied, yet this placement works between with flowing aspects between personal planets. As I said, it’s highly supportive.

Your sun in their seventh

You both have traits that you both admire in each other, yet balance each other out in the areas you guys lack in. This placement indicates respect, admiration, romance, support, and a strong connection between each other. You both love each other’s company and yet help each other blossom in the world too. This placement is great for not only partnerships, but business too. The strong, “meant to be connection” is more felt for the house person,as the sun person has traits of the ideal partner they need. The sun person has to be wary about this because they’ll demand more alone time and be protective as well. The match can also go downhill and have lots of resentment and more. Nonetheless it’s a magnetic attraction that can go both ways depending on how you allow it to manifest.

Your sun in their eighth

You guys can make great financial partners or/and the sexual attraction sizzles between you guys; the sun person helps the eighth house person go through the transformation their 8th calls them to do so. The sun person is deeply, deeply attracted to the house person that it often feels magnetizing. Or the sun person can feel uneasy with the house person. The affect is more detectable on the house person, as you affect them greatly. The house person sees the connection as very intimate and strong. They have more sensitivity towards their partner but the problem is that the sun person may not feel the same, yet they can (it goes both ways).

Your sun in their ninth

Extremely, extremely good for romantic compatibly. You’d except the seventh to be but that’s merely the house of opposites and learning from the partner. The ninth house is of second marriages which makes sense. In fact I rather have my partner have their sun in my 9th than 7th (why would you want the first, when you can have the last). The Ninth house is about everything being elevated; truth, expansion, growth, happiness, and profound love. In the long run you want a love that has respect, shared ideals, and makes you feel hope. This person has a high possibility of being your life long partner, because the relationship is constantly growing and expanding. It never gets stale. You two inspire each other and share many ideals. In fact, you guys help each other open the eyes about world. It’s like becoming a newborn baby and exploring every layer and corner of the world, mentally and physically. There’s also a possibility of adventure between you two, is this the person you travel the world with? Possibly so.

Your sun in their tenth

The sun person values the house person’s identity a lot in society. The house person may see you as someone with status or class. The problem is not a lot of attraction can fizzle here, but that depends on compatibility as a whole. Such as other planets in the houses and the compatibility of the planets together itself. You guys inspire and improve each other’s work, pushing each other. This is much more evidently done by the sun person. You have to be careful not to be overbearing or overwhelming for the house person. The sun person may feel strongly awed by the house person; they admire you, want the qualities you have, and have the desire to impress you. You’re the sun person’s precious gem. The sun person may even be more responsible and patient with you. In return, you help them with their career and ambitions a lot, something they want. There’s a lot of admiration between you guys but other aspects and placements will help build more chemistry.

Your sun in their eleventh

You both want friendship and find it in each other, finding an equal in each other. Both of you may share common interest and even friends. It helps you guys express your individuality, freedom, and greatness, often creating a relationship that is even a “best friend” bond. Both of you are nonjudgmental of each other but at the same time you have to look for other aspects and placements because you guys might just see each other as only friends, which doesn’t necessarily have to happen but it can. I feel like air signs would benefit from this, in a sense of gaining comfort and freedom with a partner.

Your sun in their twelfth

Both of you are fascinated by each other, but it’s this mysterious aura that can cause misunderstandings under the illusive charm this overlay creates. The sun person is capable of making the house person feel an array of emotions. It’s a sacrificial match as the house person can give up much; it can cause heartache and it also may cause the relationship to be too private or a secret as well. Nonetheless, and just like the 12th house, it can be highly rewarding. There can be a strong karmic connection between the two. The sun person can put the house person on many, and sometime extreme, emotional highs and lows. Yet the sun person helps them discover themselves when the waves aren’t crashing in. In return the house person makes the sun person dig deeper to discover themselves too. It’s a very spiritual and sensitive bond, yet confusing. It’s highly influential.

The 5th House and Your “Type”

The 5th house rules creativity/creative expression, sex, children, fun and how you approach it, romance and relationships (note: this is different from the 7th house. The 5th house is fun partnerships and people who are enjoyable to be around. 7th house partnerships are more about learning a complementary piece of yourself and aren’t always as lighthearted). I’ve found it also tends to rule the type of person you always seem to find yourself attracted to or crushing on. The traits your type could have depend on the sign on and/or planets in your 5th house.

I also recommend looking at both the sign and the planet that construct your 5th house (if your 5th house is empty don’t worry about this). For example, I have a Sagittarius Mars in the 5th house so I would read both the Mars in 5th and Sagittarius 5th house. I’d then put both descriptions together like my type could be someone who is a leader, has a broad world view, is playful with and inspiring to kids, and has a drive to do something in life. You could further synthesize this down to archetypes, like mine might be a camp counselor, a teacher/professor, or a humanitarian.

Aries 5th house / Mars in 5th - Leaders, people who take initiative, active, someone with a strong drive, energetic, chasers, risk takers, someone athletic, someone who is a go-getter, bold, possibly aggressive, loud, playful with kids, spontaneous, exciting, expressive

Taurus 5th house / Venus in 5th - Professional aesthetes, artists and musicians, wealthy, people who live a life of luxury, creative, relaxed, charming, physically attractive, sensual, affectionate, might be lazy, spoils children

Gemini 5th house / Mercury in 5th - Inventors, creative minds, thinkers, talkative, people who could talk all day about their interests, engineers, bright, people who can’t sit still, quick witted, funny, always inspiring children to learn

Cancer 5th house / Moon in 5th - Homebodies, nurturers, caring, calming, protective, emotionally expressive/available, people who don’t mind taking care of others, sensitive, warm, safe, supportive, a true caretaker of children

Leo 5th house / Sun in 5th - Actors/Actresses, vibrant, dramatic, melodramatic, fun loving, expressive, confident, encouraging, people who live life to the fullest, glamorous, enthusiastic, someone always ready to go out and have fun, lively, encourages children to express themselves

Virgo 5th house / Mercury in 5th - Organizers, quick thinkers, logical, sensible, smart, someone who always has a plan, people who know what’s best, practical, knowledgeable, people who know how to throw the perfect surprise, ensures a stable environment for children

Libra 5th house / Venus in 5th - Charmers, flirty, kind, sophisticated, polite, well mannered, someone who can charm your pants off, fair, people who have a way with words, people who know how to get what they want, pretty, does what they can to keep children happy

Scorpio 5th house / Pluto in 5th - The Mysterious, dark, possibly secretive, people who are more than they seem, someone in tune with themselves and others, possessive, clingy, someone who finds catharsis in fun, holds children dear to them and always keeps them as close as they can

Who Do I Attract?

So, I have a lot of these asks in my inbox right now, and it’s not really an ask meme, it’s an entire area of astrology! I figured it’d be easiest to just make a post on what areas and ways you may attract certain signs or placements.

The placements here are likely to draw in people of certain signs or planetary dominants. Usually, it will attract the Suns, Risings and dominants of these signs.

Below, in no particular order, are areas of your chart that may attract certain people or placements.

Your Moon Element will attract the same element and it’s pairing one. For example, a fire moon will attract fire and air moons. This is because your inner workings and feelings are understood by each other more so than typically incompatible elements, like water and air.

Your Rising Element will also attract the same element and it’s pairing one, but it may attract the Rising or Sun sign. For example, an earth rising will attract earth suns and/or risings. This is because your flow and ego is attractive to those who think and appear like you too, rather than those who are more reserved or wild than yourself.

Your Rising Sign is likely to attract, and in turn be drawn to, it’s sister sign. This can be in Sun, Rising or Dominance. This is because your ascendant is the opposite of your descendant, and this is the type of person we look for and admire. For example, Virgo Risings have Pisces Descendants, so are attracted/attractive to Pisces Suns, Risings and/or Dominance as the two act as a whole.

Stelliums which you may have will attract people of a certain sign. If you have a Stellium in a sign, such as Aries, you will attract Aries. This could be Aries Sun, Rising or Dominant. It may also attract Mars, Fire or 1st house dominance. If you have a Stellium in a house, such as the 3rd house, you will attract Gemini. This could be Gemini Sun, Rising or Dominant. It may also attract Mercury, Air or 3rd house dominance. A list of possible sign and house stelliums and the placements they may attract is below. The people you attract may not be mathematically dominant in these ways, but they may be prominent in their chart, like in their Moon or Mars placements.

  • Aries/1st House Stellium: Aries, Mars, Sun, 1st House, Fire dominance
  • Taurus/2nd House Stellium: Taurus, Venus, Moon, 2nd House, Earth dominance
  • Gemini/3rd House Stellium: Gemini, Mercury, 3rd House, Air dominance
  • Cancer/4th House Stellium: Cancer, Moon, Jupiter, 4th House, Water dominance
  • Leo/5th House Stellium: Leo, Sun, 5th House, Fire dominance
  • Virgo/6th House Stellium: Virgo, Mercury, 6th House, Earth dominance
  • Libra/7th House Stellium: Libra, Venus, 7th House, Air dominance
  • Scorpio/8th House Stellium: Scorpio, Mars, Pluto, 8th House, Water dominance
  • Sagittarius/9th House Stellium: Sagittarius, Jupiter, 9th House, Fire dominance
  • Capricorn/10th House Stellium: Capricorn, Saturn, Mars, 10th House, Earth dominance
  • Aquarius/11th House Stellium: Aquarius, Uranus, Saturn, 11th House, Air dominance
  • Pisces/12th House Stellium: Neptune, Jupiter, Venus, Pisces, 12th House, Water dominance

Your Dominant Sign will also attract certain signs. For example, if you are Aquarius dominant, it is likely you attract air or fire Sun and Risings, as well as fellow air/fire dominants.

Your Dominant Planet will also attract certain signs as it is the energy dominant within you. A list is given below. The sign in capitals is the sign ruled by this planet, so it is the most likely to be drawn to you. The one in normal case is where this planet exalts, so whilst they are drawn to you, it is not as much as the first.

  • Sun dominant: LEO, Aries
  • Moon dominant: CANCER, Taurus
  • Mercury dominant: GEMINI, VIRGO
  • Venus dominant: TAURUS, LIBRA, Pisces
  • Mars dominant: ARIES, SCORPIO, Capricorn
  • Jupiter dominant: SAGITTARIUS, PISCES, Cancer
  • Saturn dominant: CAPRICORN, AQUARIUS, Libra
  • Uranus dominant: AQUARIUS, Scorpio
  • Neptune dominant: PISCES, Leo, Cancer (People debate whether Neptune exalts in Leo or Cancer - to keep peace I have written both)
  • Pluto dominant: SCORPIO, Pisces, Aries (People debate whether Pluto exalts in Pisces or Aries - to keep peace I have written both)

For example, someone with Jupiter dominant is likely to attract Sagittarius dominants. Or, equally, someone with Sagittarius dominant is likely to attract Jupiter dominants.

There are even more areas you could personally look, but referring to this list can give you a good idea. For example, if you have Scorpio Venus and Mars, you can tell from this you’re likely to attract Pluto dominants, Taurus Risings, and/or people with 8th house stelliums.

Your Midheaven can also work here for the first attraction! For example, I was instantly attracted to my boyfriend when I first saw him as he was a mystery to me, and as it turns out his Midheaven is the sister of mine. The basic rule for this first sight attraction would be like this:

  • Opposite signs: Mysterious, wanting to know more, seemingly the same yet different to you
  • Element match: Similar, you feel they are like you in some way
  • Compatible elements: You seem to appreciate them for who they appear to be, but know you are not one in the same
  • Midheaven ruled by same planet: You seem so different, but there is a similar energy within you
  • You can obviously attract and be attracted to any Midheaven, but these matches would stand out for the purposes of this post

Sun through the houses

Sun in the 1st house:  With the sun in the first house, great effort is put into creating and maintaining a good self image. The way you are perceived by others is paramount to first-house sun people. Accept that you need to be a leader or an innovator, and go for it, but be careful not to be overbearing with others. A sunny disposition is generally attributed to this placement and a positive confident attitude is normally displayed.

Sun in the 2nd house With a second-house sun, a person’s identity is developed and expressed by defining personal values and accumulating objects of value. You have the ability to attract money and resources, but you can’t always hang on to it or it doesn’t bring you the happiness you expected.   Avoid over-identifying with what you have. Take pride in the solid and secure foundations that you build, as well as the lasting relationships you aim to maintain, while being careful to avoid possessiveness.

Sun in the 3rd house: Gemini, the natural ruler of this house, gives Geminian overtones to all traits. You is driven to learn, explore and enjoy their immediate environment.  You have an uncontainable desire to acquire knowledge. You relish in taking various pieces of knowledge and putting them together like puzzles that need solving. You’re observant, optimistic, flexible and you’re a superb communicator, able to relate ideas clearly to others. You would make make an excellent teacher, lecturer or writer.

Sun in the 4th house: The chart holder with a fourth-house sun is not happy unless their home life is happy. Because the fourth house can be deep and emotional, the sun here has to work extra hard to liven and inspire things. They thrive and excel in a home that is active, alive, open and loving. If they aren’t in this type of home environment, they will not feel invigorated about their life. They will strive to make the changes necessary to give them the home and family life they need.

Sun in the 5th house: The sun is comfortable in its own house. In fact, it is driven to shine here. At its best, it creates a chart holder who is confident about who they are and how they affect others. You want to be noticed for your unique and special qualities and your creativity. You are happiest when you are expressing yourself in a special way and attention comes your way as a result. You have a flair for drama and/or sports. You are proud of your fun-loving attitude towards life. As you demonstrate your ability to shine, avoid grabbing center stage all of the time.

Sun in the 6th house: The work that you do, and the services that you offer, are very important to your sense of identity. In order to feel good about yourself, you need to be busy with daily activities and to produce work you can be proud of. Focus on finding a suitable and rewarding avenue for expressing this part of you, being extra careful to choose an occupation in which you can express yourself. You are sensitive to criticism about the work you do, and you work best when you can create your own schedule.

Sun in the 7th house: Libran traits are accented with the Sun in this house. You take pride in your ability to negotiate, and to establish harmony in your relationships. It is important to you to have a partner, as you feel incomplete without one. You can be fickle about partners because new partners inspire them and allow them to see themselves in new ways. You’re self-confident, popular and have favorable dealings with your superiors. You’re good at public relations, sales and promotions.

Sun in the 8th house: You have a great urge to go farther or deeper into life every step of the way. You want to experience more, and your desires are both powerful and intense. It is hard for you to find satisfaction in common experiences, and you have magnetic power if you choose to use it wisely. You are fascinated with what lies under the surface, and at some point in your life, self-improvement is a big interest. You are attracted to unexplored or taboo areas of life, and you avoid all things superficial.

Sun in the 9th house:  You have a deep need to understand the world around you. You have high ideals and you have your eye on what’s on the horizon. You are looking ahead, and at times can seem quite restless. You are proud of your knowledge and of your morals. Be sure to avoid self-righteousness in your enthusiasm to share your knowledge. When used correctly, you are a tolerant, adventurous, and curious person, and you want to see the best in people and in life

Sun in the 10th house: The traits of Capricorn are much in evidence. Your career takes on greater than average importance. You feel the need to improve your career and is usually successful and involves your whole personality, possibly at the expense of your marriage and friendships. You’re ambitious and intrigued by power, which may make you too authoritative and dictatorial. You’re a leader in whatever you do and people pay attention to you. You may become arrogant or rebellious if you let that attention go to your head.

Sun in the 11th house: The Aquarian traits are stressed here and you simply want to do your own thing. You have many clear-cut objectives and usually achieve what you set out to do. You have a strong desire to gain recognition through mental achievements and inventions. You have strong organizing abilities and are usually a leader in any group you are involved with– societies and groups are an important part of your life. You’re apt to be a humanitarian with concern for universal human dignity and brotherhood

Sun in the 12th house: You have a tendency to be introspective and need some space and seclusion in order to pull up your strength. You may avoid the spotlight, and if you do find yourself in a public role, you tend to hide your true self behind that role!  However the sun sheds his light on this house giving the native zero worries under stressful situation. No matter what the problem is, the native will sleep sound, and will be able to see all the secret dealing happening behind or against him or her. This also can take a native to foreign lands.

Whether you have Leo in the Sun, Moon, Rising or you just have some planets in the 5th House; it’s important to remember about the joy your own art and performances give you. It’s important for you to remember about the happiness you bring to yourself. You don’t need to follow other people to feed your self-esteem. I know you want your efforts to be recognized but relying on other people to feed your ego is not the way. Looking to others to give you constant validation is unhealthy. You don’t need that. All you really have to do is to remember about your own light you radiate to the world. You are The Sun, not them, not their opinion, not their nods of approval. The Sun doesn’t run after other planets - the planets follow The Sun. Don’t forget about it.
