BECAUSE UNDER ALL THAT PUNK ROCK INSULTING AND CUSSING AND SWEARING AND YELLING AND PUSHING JUST IN GENERAL BEING MEAN TO LUKE, WHEN LUKE STARTED RANDOMLY SINGING AND INTERRUPTED MICHAEL’S CONCENTRATION, MICHAEL JUST LOOKED AT HIM AND GAVE HIM THE SOFTEST, MOST BEAUTIFUL SMILE NOT EVEN AN ANGEL COULD MAKE AND I AM NOW HAVING MUKE FEELS.
This would be the photos that we’d take a look back someday. Remembering how our teenage years had been different because of them. Remembering how we used to call them idiots because of the weird shit they do. Remembering how we made fan accounts and met friends from across the world and how we begged for their follow. Luke’s perfect quiff, Michael’s change of hair colors, watching Calum’s biceps shape perfectly, and Ashton’s bright smile and ridiculous but beautifully curled hair. You’ll watch their stupid, and idiotic videos again and laugh hard at it. Their keeks, their instagram videos, their twitcams, their pointless answers on interviews that makes you burst in to laughter and you hear your heart beating over your ears whenever Ashton laughs. “I chose the right band” You’ll thought to yourself. You’ll listen to their music again and remember how you cried whenever they release each of them. You’d remember how they leaked their first album even though they’re strictly prohibited to and they’d just be “I might get in trouble for this” because that’s how excited they are for us to hear their music. Finally, you opened an old box full of posters you collected years ago, visualizing how your room once looked with them on the walls. You dug further in to the box and saw their eps, their albums, their book, their everything. You held it tight and remember how hard you saved up just to buy each of those. Suddenly, there’s a soft knock on your door and saw your little girl peak. She sat next to you and ask why you’re crying. You didn’t even realize that you’re crying. You just laughed and wipe it off. Your little girl pointed at the posters, asking who they are. You held her closer and start to introduce each of them to your daughter.
“why them, mommy?” she asked
You took and deep breath and smiled “they saved me”
