Ever since I can remember, images have been the biggest part of my life. I viewed images, read about them, collected them and, when I got my first camera in my early teens, I started to create them myself. I currently live in London and studied photography here. However, I have learned the most whilst actually working as a photographer; on film sets, shooting behind the scenes and stills, in a studio, photographing families and corporate portraits, and, in recent years, shooting nature in my spare time. I find nature is my greatest inspiration but working on film sets excites me the most. I am very fortunate to be able to do both. My intention is now to combine my nature photos with portraiture. I shoot mostly with Canon 5DMkII and 50mm f1.4 lens.

We visited the wonderful cattowncafe today, the first cat cafe (and adoption center) in the US.  They’re not exactly like the cat cafes in Japan.  The cafe and the cat zone where you get to play with the cats are two separate areas, but they also serve as a shelter/adoption center for cats which is pretty rad.  As you can see, the cats are pretty adorable. If you’re in the SF bay area (they’re located in Oakland) and want to play with some cute kitties and support a great organization (and maybe adopt a kitty), give them a visit.
