50 Days of Doctor Who 50th

Missy and The Master - New Iconic Image Released

The BBC have released a new iconic image for the 2-part finale of Doctor Who Series 10, World Enough and Time and The Doctor Falls.

The new image (pictured above) features Missy (Michelle Gomez) and The Master (John Simm) together for the first time. The pair are seen either side of The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) as they put their own chilling spin on the iconic poster image that previously accompanied Doctor Who’s 50th anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor.

Simm will return to Doctor Who as the Master for the first time since New Year’s Day 2010, when he was responsible for the regeneration of the Tenth Doctor. This time the Master will come face-to-face with Missy, his later regeneration, and battle the Doctor during the series’ two part finale which begins next weekend.

The episodes will also feature the return of the Cybermen – including the original Mondasian Cybermen, for the first time in over 50 years – plus Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie) and Nardole (Matt Lucas) in an epic adventure that will change Doctor Who forever.

Doctor Who’s series finale begins with episode 11, World Enough and Time, at 6:45pm BST on Saturday 24th June on BBC One. It concludes on Saturday 1st July with episode 12, The Doctor Falls – an extended, 60 minute episode.

SUPERWHOLOCK THEME

After several hours of planning, editing, reediting, audio mixing, etc… it is finally decently finished.

I will upload a full animated SuperWhoLock episode title sequence in a few days/weeks so keep an eye out for it!

Vision Nine and BBC Worldwide are delighted to announce that the hugely popular Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular will come to The SSE Arena, Wembley in May 2015.

The live show, which was a sell-out on its world premiere in Australia, will enjoy a limited run -  It features over 100 performers and is conducted by Ben Foster, who conducts and orchestrates the musical scores for the TV series.  Music will be performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and members of the BBC National Chorus of Wales.

The show features a host of the Doctor’s famous adversaries including the iconic Daleks and Cybermen, the spine-chilling Silence and many more fan favourites. The live monsters provide a dramatic contrast to the evocative and thrilling music written by Murray Gold, who has been responsible for composing music for the series over the last eight years, including the record-breaking (and BAFTA award-winning) 50th anniversary episode Doctor Who: The Day or the Doctor.

The live music will be accompanied by a big screen presentation of key moments and specially edited sequences from the past 50 years of Doctor Who.
