There are many things to celebrate in my blogger’s life… the return of Broadchurch, the 2 year anniversary of this silly blog, and the fact that almost 600 (when did this happen?) of you amazing people are following my ramblings.
In order to celebrate I am kicking off the official “Chibbers Read The Fic” Bingo. Clearly, Chibbers has been spying on all of us fic writers and is attempting to put as many Broadchurch fanfic tropes into the show as possible (this is a scientifically proven fact - fight me on it). We shall use this splendid opportunity to play bingo. I created a set of bingo cards with common fic tropes which show up in actual fic (i.e. Ellie calls Hardy an insult, they hug etc.). We will be watching the show and marking all the tropes we find.
Here are the rules:
Players must be following this obsessive Alec Hardy enthusiast
To participate reblog this post and I’ll message you the image of your card
Watch Series 3 (all episodes including 1), enjoy, and mark all the fic tropes you find
I will be keeping track myself and make posts with the tropes identified after every episode
If you get 5 in a row, column, or diagonally, tell me (I will check your card) and you’ll win
THERE ARE PRIZES (Alec Hardy mugs from @jem-scribbles Redbubble store and/or a medium length prompt fic from me) (must be willing to give me your address to get the mug)
Alternatively you can use it as a drinking game if that’s your thing (lol)
THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING OUT THERE AND SO SUPPORTIVE. LOVE YOU ALL!!! I hope you enjoy the game.
Alright, so here it finally is: The Masterpost of all Submissions for the CullrIan Mini-Bang 2015.
We know, that a few teams have not yet handed in their submission and some posted submissions are not yet finished. But in order to give our followers- especially the new ones- a good overview already, we set up the Index and linked it onto our main-page.
You can access the Index via the link on this post, or via direct-link on our main-page:
The Index is a tabel with 5 columns: Team-Number, Prompt, Artist, Writer and Link.
The columns Artist and Writer contain a direct link to the respective blogs of the Artist and Writer, in case you want to see what other stuff they have made. The column Link links you directly to the original submission-post on our blog. If one of the links is broken, please let us know and we’ll fix it as soon as possible.
Feel free to check out the index and enjoy all the wonderful artworks and stories that have been gathered for the mini-bang and don’t forget, to leave a comment in the ask-boxes of the artists and writers, if you liked their work.
A Like is a nice gesture of appreciation of course, but since the submissions are all directly on our blog neither the artist, nor the writer get notificated of the notes on these posts. So the best way to show them you liked what they did, is to tell them directly.
And here a note for the teams:
Those of you, who haven’t handed in their submission, will be added to the index as soon, as they hand in the submission and we have posted it on our blog.
Quiz from the Ichimatsu fanbook, scans given by my lovely source who wishes to remain anonymous.
USE CATS TO DETERMINE YOUR FETISH! How you approach cats will determine your inner desire?! It is said (…let’s just say that it is) that your approach with cats determines your inner fetish. Answer the two questions below, and you may find a hidden fetish that you yourself didn’t know…!
Where would you pet a cat first? This direct action of “touching” shows the direction of your sexual interest. (1) Head (2) Back (3) Stomach (4) Tail (5) Butt
Which would you give? What would you feed a hungry cat? This will show your sexual stance towards your target. (I) Dried sardines (II) Live fish (III) Japanese alcohol (IV) What kind of meat is that? (V) A mushy thing found on park grounds
Match the response you got between 1-5 (top column) with I-V (left column) to receive what type you are. Find out what types A-F are below the cut!
Princess Serenity's Dress: An Analysis and Break-Down
Hey, Sailor Moon fandom, hey…
It’s that time again where I talk too much. This time let’s discuss Princess Serenity’s famous dress which is well-known as an interpretation of the “Palladium” / “Il Palladio” dress in the Christian Dior, Haute Couture Spring/Summer 1992 collection. Here’s a very nice post by Moonie Trivia with detailed pics comparing them with the included inspiration, an Ionic column.
So what more is there to add, really?
Well, let’s take a little trip down history and fashion lane.
