Honestly one of my favorite baseball memories was when I got Matt Wisler’s autograph before the last game of the series in ATL playing the Dodgers, and I told him that he pitched really well in his start two days prior. And he got the biggest grin on his face and said “Thank you” and it was such a simple interaction but it was so nice.
I always told you to sleep when you were tired.
You said you wanted to keep talking to me instead.
“There’s plenty of time, we can talk later, so sleep now.” I said.
But only you seemed to know we didn’t have plenty time.
