Baby goats are wearing sweaters to support the Denver Broncos

It turns out that baby goats root for broncos.

Farmer Rebecca Herberg resides in Montrose, Colorado with 150 kids. And by kids, we mean baby goats.

The goat mama spoke to CBS Denver about her kids and told a reporter all about their current fashion choice: blue and orange sweaters to represent the Denver Broncos.

She even knits the sweaters herself.

While Herberg hasn’t always been a football fan, the Denver Bronco’s success has inspired her to create blue and orange sweaters for the chilly goat babies in honor of the Super Bowl-bound team.

“They’re really a team that you can be proud of, and I love them,” she told CBS. “It’s not so much I’m a football fan as that I’m a Broncos fan, and how can you not be?”

As for the sweaters, the goats seem to be warm, happy and ready to cheer on their home team.

“They look like a bunch of little Broncos fans running around down there,“ Herberg said.

Mashable has reached out to Rebecca Herberg for comment.

Women and the 32-Hour Workweek

Our video team shot this short documentary on Treehouse, a tech start-up with a very non-traditional outlook on the workweek:

One reader raises an interesting point:

While I appreciate the overall message and goal that the CEO is trying to create with this schedule, I would have loved to have heard more from women working at Treehouse. Women in tech are already an underrepresented minority, and this sort of scheduling will have a far greater effect on their lives because (although this is a big generalization that I’m sure I’ll get burned for in the comments section), women are often responsible for the majority of childcare, cooking, and cleaning in the home.

Instead, in the video, we have two prominently positioned males within the company who primarily discuss how such scheduling allows them more time to relax and be creative, with only a brief acknowledgement that the truncated work hours “likely help my wife.”

Trump Gets Booed at the Republican Debate Over Support for Eminent Domain

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump drew jeers from the audience for his forceful defense of eminent domain during the eighth GOP debate on Saturday night.

The real estate tycoon parts from many conservatives in supporting the practice, which allows private property to be seized for public purposes. Asked by a moderator at the Manchester, New Hampshire, debate to expand on his views, Trump didn’t back down.

“So many people have hit me with commercials and other things about eminent domain. Eminent domain is an absolute necessity for a country, for our country,” Trump said. “Without it, you wouldn’t have roads. You wouldn’t have hospitals. You wouldn’t have anything. You wouldn’t have schools. You wouldn’t have bridges. You need eminent domain.”

Ironically, as Trump went on to note, many of his conservative critics are also vocal supporters of the Keystone XL pipeline, which would transport oil from the tar sands of Canada to the Gulf of Mexico and would require the use of eminent domain.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush pounced, bringing up the case of an “elderly woman on the strip in Atlantic City” whose property Trump wanted to seize. Bush was referring to the case of Vera Coking, who ultimately prevailed over Trump in court in 1998.

“That is not public purpose. That is downright wrong,” Bush said.

After a heated back-and-forth — in which Trump jabbed that Bush “wants to be a tough guy” — Trump attempted to retake control of the conversation, only to encounter boos from the audience.

“Let me talk. Quiet. A lot of times, a lot of times —  that’s all of his donors and special interests out there,” Trump said, referring to the booing. “So, it’s what it is. That’s what it is. And by the way, let me just tell you, we needed tickets [to the debate]. You can’t get them. You know who has the tickets — to the television audience? Donors, special interests, the people that are putting up the money. That’s who it is. The RNC told us.”

Together these two principal architects of the multiscreen future will deliver the cross-platform currencies that have been demanded for so long.”

“The media industry can no longer be measured with samples in the thousands of households or individuals,” added Bill Livek, vice chairman and president of comScore. “The solutions our customers need must be based on unifying and making actionable massive amounts of information they can use as both a currency and to better manage their businesses. Our joint cultures have been living and breathing this mission from our companies’ inceptions.”

Modi misleading people on Paradip project: Congress

New Delhi, Feb 8 (IANS) The Congress on Monday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of misleading the nation and making “hollow and lame allegations” regarding the delay in the commencement of the Paradip oil refinery project in Odisha.

Modi resorted to myopic politicking while inaugurating the Paradip project on Sunday, said Congress leader and former union minister Srikant Jena in a statement here.

“Had the prime minister been honest and sincere, he would have appreciated the Congress-led UPA government in the development of Paradip and Odisha instead of making hollow and lame allegations about the project having been delayed. We call upon him to introspect and do necessary course correction,” Jena added.

“Narendra Modi’s rhetoric is founded on blame game and criticising the previous governments instead of providing leadership to the nation. The net consequence is that repeated public utterances of the prime minister are based on deliberate ignorance and selective amnesia towards facts,” the Congress leader said.

He said the project was conceptualised in 1992 by the then prime minister P.V. Narasimha Rao with a capacity of six million tonnes, later increased to nine million tonnes by the United Front government headed by H.D. Deve Gowda.

He said the foundation stone was laid by the then prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee in 2000.

The Congress leader said the project was called off due to “delay and non-cooperation by the Biju Janata Dal-Bharatiya Janata Party coalition government in Odisha which refused to provide sales tax concession”.

Jena said the United Progressive Alliance government led by Manmohan Singh revisited the project and “persuaded the then BJD government in Odisha to sign a memorandum of understanding”.

He said the then UPA government and the Indian Oil Corporation Limited announced a fresh project with a capacity of 15 million tonnes refining capacity along with other downstream projects.

Jena said the then UPA government approved expenditure of Rs.35,000 crore in 2009 and its completion in 2012-13.

“What is remarkable is that despite being a green field project in remote area, 95 percent of the work was completed by 2014 during UPA government’s term,” the Congress leader said in the release.

Modi had on Sunday dedicated to the nation a 15-million tonnes per annum refinery and expressed regrets over the delay in execution of different projects.

He took a dig at the Congress and said “nowadays whenever I go to inaugurate any project, the friends in Congress party say it was started during our time”.

Direct flights between Indonesia, India likely this year

New Delhi, Jan 27 (IANS) Direct flights between India and Indonesia are likely to begin this year to facilitate tourism, Indonesian ambassador Rizali W. Indrakesuma said on Wednesday.

“The Indian government has already given permission; it is a matter of how Indonesia responds. We are hoping that direct flights between the two countries begin by this year or by next year at the latest,” said Indrakesuma said.

The first flights both governments plan to launch initially are between Delhi and Jakarta and Mumbai and Bali. Garuda Indonesia and Air India will operate flights between the two countries.

The ambassador said a deal on the matter could be finalised in March when the transport minister of Indonesia will participate in an event organised by the civil aviation ministry in India.

“This is an opportunity for our minister to engage with the Indian civil aviation minister (Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati) at an event organised in Hyderabad in March,” the ambassador said.

“The consulate general of Indonesia in Mumbai will push the ministry of tourism to open direct flights for the first time between Delhi and Jakarta and Mumbai and Bali. Last year, 262,000 tourists from India visited Indonesia; we expect the figure to go up to 350,000 this year. First it’ll be a government-to-government engagement and later we can engage private airlines,” said Taufik Nurhidayat, deputy director, ministry of tourism, Republic of Indonesia.

Indonesia attracts the highest number of tourists from Singapore, followed by Malaysia, Australia, China, Japan, Korea and India.

PetSmart® Launches TurboPUP, Pet Food Innovation Discovered on ABC’s Shark Tank

Last Friday, Kristina Guerrero, founder of TurboPUP, impressed the sharks on ABC’s Shark Tank with the news of her exclusive, national retail deal with PetSmart. The specialty pet store will carry her TurboPUP innovative portable meal bars for dogs in more than 900 PetSmart stores across the U.S. and Canada this year.

Guerrero’s big idea for a lightweight canine meal replacement bar was sparked by a backcountry ski trip with her dog Dunkan five years ago. Realizing he was as hungry as she was, she fed him her own provision even though she knew the food was lacking in proper canine nutrition. The experience fueled her quest to find suitable travel food for Dunkan, but she came up empty handed and decided to create TurboPUP – a premium, compact and “Complete K9 Meal Bar” to help sustain a dog’s energy level.

Guerrero headed to the kitchen, and with the help of her food-scientist husband, found the perfect recipe using grain-free, all-natural, human-grade ingredients. TurboPUP bars are a complete meal replacement solution and formulated with essential vitamins and nutrients dogs require in every stage of life.

“Kristina’s entrepreneurial spirit and hard work creating TurboPUP is the true definition of innovation,” said Eran Cohen, chief customer experience officer at PetSmart. “We love pets and know they make us better people, and we always want to deliver new solutions to help pet parents take better care of their pets, as well as to support the range of pet lifestyles out there. So many people are now always on-the-go with their pups, and TurboPUP bars are the ideal portable food solution for those weekend warriors out with their dogs whether camping, hiking or spending a day at the dog park or mall.”

TurboPUP meal bars are manufactured at a facility in Oregon and use American-sourced, human-grade ingredients. These all-natural, high-protein and grain-free bars are perfect for pet parents who get out with their dogs. The compact, lightweight meal bars come in two canine-favorite flavors: peanut butter and bacon.

“I’m thrilled TurboPUP is going to be in PetSmart stores. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to offer TurboPUP bars to dog owners and dogs across the country,” said Guerrero, TurboPUP Founder and CEO.

Guerrero, a decorated U.S. Air Force Veteran, first appeared on Shark Tank in Jan. of 2015 where she walked away with a $100,000 investment from Shark Tank’s Daymond John. The funds helped her kick-start TurboPUP with manufacturing, distribution and expansion plans for the TurboPUP line.

PetSmart is the largest pet specialty retailer for services and solutions that address the lifetime needs of pets, and is dedicated to product innovation, often premiering the latest pet lifestyle products in its stores. Debuting the TurboPUP product is a natural fit, and the bars can now be found at PetSmart stores and petsmart.com through April 2016.

Playboy Mansion to become members' club?

The Playboy Mansion could be turned into an exclusive members’ club.

The iconic property is currently up for sale for $200 million - though the buyer must agree for media mogul Hugh Hefner to continue living there - and Jeff Beacher, who owns Las Vegas nightspot Beacher’s Madhouse, has met with Playboy executives to discuss buying the six-acre estate.

The businessman wants to create a partnership with Playboy Enterprises that would allow him to use the Playboy name for the club and has drawn up paperwork for a $90 million offer, comprising $12 million from himself and the remainder from partners.

Jeff confirmed to TMZ he is serious about his plan, which would see him invest $20 million in renovations, keeping the main structure intact and adding five bungalows for guests.

A Playboy executive told the website they would “seriously entertain” the proposal, but not necessarily his price.

However, with Holmby Hills, where the mansion is situated, being one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive areas, it is unclear whether the businessman and his partners could get a license variance for a club.

Jeff’s bid comes shortly after Larry Flynt - whose Larry Flynt Publications publishes pornographic magazine Hustler - expressed an interest in the property, but didn’t want to meet the asking price, nor was he keen to have the 89-year-old magazine publisher living in the house, which was a condition stipulated in the sale.

Expedition Finds Hidden Population Of 200 Lions In Ethiopia

Lions have been discovered living in the Alatash area of Ethiopia, where they were previously believed to have been wiped out.

Around 200 of the animals were found living happily in the wildness, in a rare piece of good news for conservationists and wildlife lovers.

Africa’s lion population has been dramatically reduced in recent years due to human hunting and habitat destruction.

Estimates now suggest there are fewer than 20,000 of the big cats living on the continent.

The Alatash area of Ethiopia was thought to have been just one region where they had died out.

However, reported sightings led the Born Free foundation to go an expedition to the area with Oxford University’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU).

There, the teams found a hidden population believed to be central African lions, the rarest subspecies, according to The Sunday Times.

Virginia McKenna, star 1966 film from which the foundation takes it name, told the paper: “We are thrilled to have found them.

“I suspect it is one of the last hidden populations — they would once have numbered in the hundreds of thousands and now they are at serious risk of extinction so it is wonderful to find a new population.”

The expedition to Alatash was led by Professor Hans Bauer, WildCRU’s lion conservation co-ordinator for the Horn of Africa.

He said: “Lions are definitely present in Alatash national park and in the adjacent Dinder national park [in eastern Sudan] — the population is 100-200 animals.

“This population probably belongs to the much more endangered central African subspecies. They are otherwise normal lions but maybe they are extra nocturnal and hard to find because they are not used to people.”
